The first Michelin VR dining experience in Southeast Asia at Elysium, Luna Beach Club, Nuanu Creative City, is presented in collaboration with EPIC NOW.

TABANAN, Balitopnews.com - In collaboration with EPIC NOW, Nuanu presents the first Michelin VR dining experience in Southeast Asia at Luna Beach Club. This experience offers a new way to enjoy fine dining, combining culinary delights, technology, and visual storytelling in one immersive experience.

Led by Michelin-starred Japanese chef Kazushige Suzuki, this experience combines Japanese-Balinese fusion cuisine with virtual reality technology. Guests are invited to enter eight distinct VR worlds, where each visual and atmospheric setting is designed to align with the dishes being served, creating a flowing narrative from beginning to end.

As the gastronomic hub of Nuanu Creative City, this experimental dining experience takes place exclusively at Luna Beach Club, specifically at Elysium, a glass-and-bamboo venue overlooking the ocean, designed to deliver an immersive and meticulously curated culinary experience.

Served in an intimate format, each session is limited to just 20 guests. This approach allows for a more personalized and focused experience, with meticulous attention to detail in every element—from flavors and presentation to the ambiance. The experience takes place every Friday and Saturday night at Luna Beach Club, Nuanu Creative City. “Nuanu was created as a space where different disciplines can meet without losing their identity,” Lev Kroll said as CEO of Nuanu Creative City. “This collaboration with EPIC.NOW reflects our view of culture as a collaborative process that values the work, the creators, and the audience.” Globally, the immersive dining trend is gaining ground in cities like New York and Tokyo. VR technology is being used not to replace the dining experience, but rather to deepen sensory engagement and enrich the way we experience a meal.

Guests can choose from four levels of experience, from the Discovery Experience to the VIP Experience, which includes curated beverage pairings and exclusive menu elements. Private group booking options are also available, perfect for celebrations or special occasions. “This experience is built on mindfulness,” says the EPIC NOW team. “The visuals, sound, and pacing are designed to complement the food, not distract from the essence of the meal itself.” With limited capacity and a thoughtfully designed format, the VR Michelin Dining Experience places Bali at the forefront of experimental gastronomy in Southeast Asia, while also affirming Nuanu Creative City’s role as a space for exploration across art, culture, and technology.
