Nunas Sari Tradition in Manis Galungan Day

Day after Galungan Day,  Balinese Hindus celebrate the Manis Galungan Day. As usual in manis galungan the people in  Bongan Gede Subvillage, Bongan village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Regency hold nunas sari tradition.

The villagers was hold nunas sari tradition on manis galungan day, Thursday April 6, 2017. It’s starting before cock crows or sun rise on 05.00 AM. The villagers go to spring in Beji Temple. Armed with cymbals cider and bring cups or glasses for sari or tirta place. Though the road to the temple's location is pretty steep, and must be careful down the stairs. Especially in the morning it was still dark. Not dampen the enthusiasm of villagers to take sari or holy water.
After the priests of Baji Temple give holy water, the villagers put it to their house.  It’s spraying in family temples.  “ Nunas sari tradition has existed since a long time ago, it held every Manis Galungan Day. The aim to get safet and prosperous, "priests Beji Temple said. RRBNC
