KPU Tabanan Monitoring of Permanent Voters List in 14 Villages

KPU Tabanan (General Election Commission of Tabanan) monitored 14 villages that had just held village head elections. The monitoring aimed at updating the voters data in the Permanent Voter List was led by the chairman of KPU Tabanan Luh Darayoni with four commissioners on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
I Wayan Sutama as one commissioner of KPU Tabanan explained monitoring to 14 villages that had just held the election of village heads simultaneously in addition to knowing the number of voters list (DPT) in each village. It’s Also to know the participation of the community in the election of the village head. "This data  will be one of input for us at KPU for updating of voter data in order to election of governor of Bali 2018," Sutama  explained.

He added that the monitoring also aims to determine the number of valid ballots and what causes them. "Although we are not the organizers of village head elections simultaneously. This monitoring data will be used as one of the reference in holding the upcoming election event, "he explained.
Monitoring which lasted for two days was targeting 14 villages namely Kukuh, Marga Dajan Puri, Marga Dauh Puri, Marga District, Jelijih Punggang and Bantiran Pupuan District, Perean Kangin District Baturiti, Megati District East Selemadeg, Angkah and Munduh Kauh District West Selemadeg, Abian Tuwung Kediri District, Biaung, Mangesta, Sangketan in Penebel District.
