Mrs. Putri Koster Receives Figure Inspirational Woman Award 2019

  • News, Denpasar –  Mrs Putri Suastini Koster as chairman of PKK Bali Province receives Figure Inspirational Woman Award 2019 for all the programs and activities that have been carried out so far.

This award was given directly by the Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection of Indonesia Mrs Bintang Puspayoga, in the series of the Awarding Inspirational Woman Awarding in 2019, which took place at K Nadha  Bali TV Press Building, Denpasar on Saturday (November 30,2019).

In her remarks, Mrs. Putri Koster expressed her gratitude for the award given. "By continuing to intensify the 10 main PKK programs to the District / City and increasing synergy with the Regency / City PKK and the Village PKK, the progress of the application of the 10 PKK main programs is increasingly felt in the community, especially in empowering women and protecting women and children from violence," She said.

This can be seen from the decreasing number of cases of violence against women and children that occurred in Bali. In maintaining this conducivity, Mrs. Putri Koster invites all levels of society to jointly empower women both for the household and banjar and the village where she lives. "Women are a national asset, whose development is not only the responsibility of the government, but also requires our mutual concern. Likewise children, are the nation's assets that will become the nation's next generation. For that reason, we must protect these assets together, " She said.

Mrs Putri Koster who is known to have a myriad of talents in the art world hopes that the awards given to some inspiring female figures in Bali can become a driving force, as well as provide motivation that can ultimately provide an impact for other women so that more will be able to empower women."For this reason, I invite great women in Bali, let us join hands, let us learn from each other, how we can awaken each other so that the women in Bali are protected and their welfare can be guaranteed so that they can raise their children well and also look after his family wisely, "She added.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection of Indonesia Mrs. Bintang Puspayoga expressed her appreciation for the hard work that has been carried out by the Chairperson of the PKK TP in the Province of Bali and the Regencies / Cities in Bali. According to her, priority programs owned by the ministry would never succeed without the support of the regions. For this reason, She hopes that Bali will continue to maintain cohesiveness and continue to establish communication with the ministry so that what is an obstacle in the regions can be communicated with the central government, and immediate responses can be taken immediately to existing obstacles.

Regarding the empowerment of women and children in Bali, according to Mrs. Bintang, her nickname, Bali has been very good at empowering, it can be seen from the few cases of child and women violence in Bali. She hopes that in the future Bali can become a pilot project in empowering women and protecting children.
