Balitopnews.com, Denpasar - Bali Governor Wayan Koster asked Pertamina Region V Denpasar to anticipate high demand for fuel oil ahead of the upcoming Christmas and New Year  celebration.

"Please, my friends at Pertamina anticipate, because tourists usually burst at Christmas and New Year," pleaded Governor Koster when receiving an audit of the ranks of PT Pertamina (Persero) Denpasar Branch, in the Living Room of the Bali Governor's Office, Renon, Denpasar on Monday (December 2, 2019).

Governor Koster also hopes that there will be no problems related to the shortage of fuel supplies in Bali ahead of the close of 2019, which is only one month left.

Koster added, that in the future,  Bali will soon lead to the utilization of clean energy. This is in accordance with the Bali  Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 45 Year 2019 concerning Bali Clean Energy and Bali Governor Regulation Number 48 Year 2019 regarding Use of Battery Based Electric Motorized Vehicles.

"Through this regulation, we will encourage the use of new and renewable energy, so that Bali's environment and environment will be cleaner," he explained.

Meanwhile, Head of the PT Pertamina Regional V Denpasar Branch, Deni Suhendar claimed his party was ready to support the policies of the Bali Provincial Government. "Moreover, we also continue to work to increase the use of non-subsidized fuel, which is more environmentally friendly," Suhendar said.

He also made sure to face the end of the year, Pertamina Denpasar had anticipated and ensured the adequacy of fuel supply availability in Bali. "We have formed a Task Force to face the high demand ahead of Christmas and New Year.
