Towards Bali Smart Island, Governor of Koster Welcomes the Sm @ rt247 Card, East Duda Village

Balitopnews.com, Karangasem - An innovative program is being developed in Duda Timur Village, Selat, Karangasem. After previously in this village made an innovation related to data and location of residence online based on blood type and Smart Budgeting administration program as well as a complaints program and reports of emergencies in real time for its citizens, this time Duda Timur Village under the leadership of I Gede Pawana again launched the next program , i.e. applications and cards for Regional Government Enterprises (Bumdes) Sm @ rt247. The launch of this innovative program was carried out directly by  Governor Bali  Wayan Koster on Thursday morning (12 December 2019).

According to the Head of Duda Timur Village I Gede Pawana, the Bumdes Sm @ rt247 card is expected to facilitate citizens' transactions. Pawana explained, the technology applied did not only reach between villages, but also between bank accounts and even between countries with real time transaction capability and later more than 10,000 banks worldwide.

Pawana added, the application and the Sm @ rt247 card to support the vision of the Bali Provincial Government (Pemprov) "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali". According to him, the application and card is one of the latest features of Sm @ rtDesa to support the national non-cash movement that has been developed since the end of 2017 to coincide with the eruption of Mount Agung, in Karangasem.

Responding to this, Bali Governor Wayan Koster welcomed the various innovations made by the East Duda Village. According to him, this application is in accordance with the program of the Provincial Government of Bali which is heading for Bali Smart Island.

"With affordable, easy and integrated costs to all official and customary villages throughout Bali, I am interested in this application," he said.

Koster added that in Bali, in support of the Bali Smart Island program the Provincial Government of Bali has launched free Wi-fi in villages and will be completed again next year to traditional villages, Puskesmas and schools (SMA / SMK).

"Even though I live in a village, I hope that I cannot miss 'science and technology'. This is an effort so that human resources (HR) can compete globally without leaving the cultural roots of Bali that is supreme," he said.

Meanwhile, the designer and creator of Sm @ rtDesa Sonny Kastara Dhaniswara from PT Saebo Technology said, if this program is a form of support for the national non-cash movement. Sonny Kastara explained, the application can be used without the need for an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) engine. The effort is to overcome the weaknesses of the non-cash national movement which still uses EDC machines so that it does not reach the middle to lower classes, including SMEs.

The advantage of the Sm @ rt247 card is that it has multifunction as a citizen card, access Automated Teller Machine (ATM), debit and e-toll.
