SMK Tourism Margarana Tabanan held skill competency test for four days with two department, accommodation hospitality and food and beverage department.
Headmaster SMK Margarana Tabanan I Ketut Sukantha Artha Wibawa on Thursday (23 pebruary 2017) said that skill competency test is divided into two program. The first followed by department accommodations hospitality attended by 35 participants. It was held on 17th and 18th of February 2017. Whereas for food and beverage department hold from the 23th until the 24th of February 2017. It followed 47 participants.
"The aims of skill competency test, to make sure the competency skills possessed by students. And they also demanded to practice the results on the job training in the hotel with the theory that acquired in school,” Sukantha explains.
He added, assessment assessor team from the Institute of Professional certifications. One of the requirements to be able to work in the hotel is a certificate of competency skills test. "Students must pass the skill competency test. If it does not pass next year to be followed, "he explained.
