DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Vice Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) Submits Compensation for Victims of Criminal Acts of Terrorism that occurred in Poso and Wonokromo at Wiswa Sabha Utama Building, Thursday, October 15 2020.
According to Cok Ace, terrorism is one of the social problems in society which is still occurring until now and can even become a threat to the unity and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia if it is able to infiltrate certain groups of society and develop within it.
Cok Ace added that his party really appreciated the compensation for victims of the Poso and Wonokromo crimes. So that in the future this compensation can be used for the survival of the victims and their families.
These acts of terrorism must continue to be monitored because the movements and networks are difficult to trace. A series of fulfillment of the rights of victims of terrorism in the form of compensation that has permanent legal force, which will be paid by the Central Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), Bali Province, which was chosen as the area for handover because one of the recipients has been transferred to the Bali Police, in addition to the Protection Agency. Central Witnesses and Victims (LPSK) led by its Chairman, Asto Atmojo Suroyo, will also conduct an assessment of victims of the Bali Bombing which is the mandate of Law Number 5 of 2018 and Government Regulation Number 35 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 7 of 2018 concerning amendments compensation for aid restitution to witnesses and victims of terrorism crimes.
The compensation for the Poso and Wonokromo terrorism crimes was handed over directly to the Poso 2 Compensation in accordance with Decision Number 1383 / Pid.Sus / 2019 / PN Jkt.Utr which made the following decisions in the case of Defendant Ardiansyah Bakri, the compensation for the crime was handed over to the victims, namely Yacob Tappi in the amount of IRD 100,500,000, Baso Irwanto in the amount of IRD 33,250,000, and Andrew Maha Putra in the amount of IRD. 1,932,445,143 3.
Wonokromo compensation according to Decision Number 474 / Pid.Sus / 2020 / PN Jkt.
