DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Vice Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati ( Cok Ace) was a speaker in a Webinar that raised the topic of Tourism Industry Post Covid 19: Survival and Revival Strategy, at the Vice Governor of Bali Meeting Room, Friday, October 16, 2020.

 

Vice Governor of Bali conveyed that various economic recovery efforts have been carried out, both in the form of programs and economic stimuli from the central government and local governments that have been launched, such as stimuli for MSME players, for SMA / SMK students, students to print and online media. In addition, in cooperation with Bank Indonesia and other banks in Bali, a mutual cooperation market was also held to absorb agricultural and fishery products.

 

Likewise in the tourism sector, tourism industry players continue to improve by preparing the application of health protocols both at tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants so that there is growing confidence among tourists about the application of health protocols in Bali.


 

Besides the implementation of Clean, Health, Safety and Environment (CHSE), the application of non-cash payments using the QRIS application continues to be intensified so that tourists will feel safe and comfortable when traveling to Bali later. Likewise, the domestic market continues to be stimulated.

 

Vice Governor of Bali added that the government prepared a number of supporting regulations as a legal umbrella and continued to improve infrastructure such as adding and improving the quality of hospitals, isolation rooms, laboratory capacity and continuing to explore cooperation with industry players abroad and surveying tourism trends as a result of Covid- 19.


 

In another part, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela Tanoesoedibjo, who was also the speaker of the webinar, said that during the Covid-19 pandemic refocusing on the quality and target of the tourism market was carried out so that in the future tourism would be of higher quality


 

"Indonesia has tremendous tourism potential, for that we must work together, be enthusiastic and work hand in hand for the progress and revival of tourism both in Bali and Indonesia in general," She explained.

 

This webinar was also attended virtually by the Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Bali Province Trisno Nugroho, businessman Sandiaga Uno and Chairman of the Bali Tourism Board I.B. Partha Adnyana and other tourism stakeholders. (Gix)
