Governor of Bali Wayan Koster's Idea About Bali Clean Energy Appreciated by The Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia in Jakarta

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - The Ambassador of The Republic of Slovakia in Jakarta, Jaroslav Chlebo, gave his appreciation to The Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, for issuing a regulation in the form of Bali Governor Regulation Number 45 on Bali Clean Energy.

 

This appreciation was conveyed when the Slovak Ambassador held an audience with the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, Friday 4 December 2020 at Jayasabha, Denpasar.

 

During the hearing, Governor Koster, who welcomed the presence of the Ambassador of The Republic of Slovakia, Jaroslav Chlebo in Balinese traditional clothing, said that in his era of leadership as Governor, he had established a fundamental Bali development strategy by carrying out the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali through the Plan of Universal Development Planning towards the Bali Era. New.



 

"In my strategy to build Bali, I focus on building its natural, human and cultural ecosystem, because Bali is an attraction for domestic and foreign tourists," Governor Koster said, who was once a member of the 3rd Period DPR-RI from the PDI-P Faction.

 

To maintain the harmony of Bali's nature and its contents, Wayan Koster in front of the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia in Jakarta, Jaroslav Chlebo emphasized that in Bali currently there is a Bali Governor Regulation No.97 of 2018 concerning Limitation of Single-Use Plastic Waste Generation, and Bali Governor Regulation Number 48 2019 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Motorized Vehicles as an effort to make Bali Island clean from pollution.

 

It does not stop there, efforts are also being made to develop a clean energy-based power plant program in Bali. Thus, not only will Bali's nature be clean, but tourists will also feel comfortable in Bali.

 

"Actually, since 2019, Bali has received a good response from various countries, so that world tourist visits in 2019 have increased by more than 20 percent. Then in 2020, tourist visits to Bali were disrupted due to Covid-19 and added by policies from the Central Government. which prohibits foreigners from visiting Indonesia, as a result Bali tourism has slumped, and the economy in Bali is disrupted, "Koster said, and he praying that the Covid-19 pandemic would end and Bali tourism would return to normal, the economy of Bali would rise again.


 

Hearing this, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia in Jakarta, Jaroslav Chlebo, when accompanied by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovakia, Dr. Jurgen Schreiber further said that his party has an interest in collaborating in Bali, especially in the field of electric motors in an effort to support the use of battery-based electric motorized vehicles.

 

"In terms of investment, we in principle in developing Bali will always use the strength of local resources, and can synergize with outside partners as long as the investment is in accordance with the needs and development priorities in Bali," said Wayan Koster while informing that the Island of the Gods has various industries. such as the Agricultural Processing Industry, the People's Handicraft Industry, and will move towards the Environmentally Friendly Vehicle Industry, to investment in the clean energy sector.
