Governor of Bali Wayan Koster Grants 10 Are of Bali Provincial Government Land to The MDA Selat District

KARANGASEM, Balitopnews.com - Bendesa Adat in Selat District, Karangasem Regency is grateful for the full support given by the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster in advancing Traditional Village in Bali, including in Selat District, Karangasem.

 

"This is the first time that the Governor of Bali gives full care to the Traditional Village, so we feel grateful that there is a Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali program which is serious about advancing Traditional Villages," Komang Sujana said as Bendesa of the Traditional Village Council (MDA) of the Selat District,  in front of the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, Saturday, December 5, 2020, on the sidelines of the Bali Provincial Government's Land Grant assistance event at Wantilan, Head of the Selat Sub-district.

 

Komang Sujana, who is also the Bendesa Adat Duda, stated that the land grant assistance provided by Governor Koster will be used as much as possible to preserve and support the Traditional Village program in Selat District, one of which is also designated as the MDA Office of the Selat District



 

Hearing this, Governor Wayan Koster, who was accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Indigenous Community Promotion Service, I Gusti Agung Ketut Kartika Jaya Seputra, the Great Drawing of the Bali Province Traditional Village Council (MDA), I Ketut Sumarta, and former Bendesa Agung of the Bali Province Traditional Village, Jero Gede Suwena Putus Upadesa explained that the Bali Provincial Government Land Grant assistance provided to MDA in Selat District has an area of ​​10 are.

 

"I support if the Bali Province Land Assets are used to promote and preserve Art, Tradition, Culture, Local Wisdom in Traditional Villages. So because this land will be used as the District MDA Office, then the Selat District MDA is the first in Bali to have an Office, and built with the concept of mutual cooperation, " Koster said.  He added that this Bali Province Land could also be used for the benefit of the government, for the sake of developing economic income, and also for the community, especially for Traditional Villages, apart from supporting educational activities. health, and other public facilities.


 

On the other hand, the former member of the DPR-RI 3 Period from the PDI-P faction who successfully entered the CHAPTER on Traditional Villages in Law No.6 of 2014 concerning Villages on that occasion invited 27 Indigenous Bendesa in Selat District to seriously carry out the preservation of customs and culture in Bali which in line with the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali.

 

Because the Traditional Village has become the main institution, and the pillar of guarding, enforcing, preserving arts, culture, and local wisdom in Bali which has also been successfully championed in the form of Perda Desa Adat No 4 ,  2019. 

 

"We awaken, strengthen, build, and re-manifest the values ​​of Balinese cultural civilization through Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali on a scale and abstract, because the identity or 'unteng' in Bali is custom, art, tradition, culture and local wisdom," he concluded. (gix)
