DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Mrs Putri Koster as the Main Manggala Paiketan Krama Istri  of Bali Province (PAKIS Bali) was one of the speakers in the postponed broadcast of the 'Balinese Women Talk' with the theme 'Socialization of Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2019 on Traditional Villages and Socialization of PAKIS MDA Bali ', which took place in Denpasar, Thursday (January 14,2021).

Starting her direction, Mrs. Putri Koster conveyed the existence of PAKIS Bali in the community to make a real contribution in supporting the program launched by traditional villages as an implementation of the Vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali.

Putri Koster, who is also the Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province  said that the existence of PAKIS Bali in the community in carrying out its programs does not overlap with the TP PKK program. PAKIS Bali will continue to synergize with TP PKK to socialize Bali Provincial Government programs as stated in the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali. The position of the two is clear in a village, where the head of the PKK is the wife of the village head, while the head of PAKIS Bali is the wife of Jro Bendesa. So far, both of them have been in different spheres and both carry out their functions simultaneously

The wife of the number one person in Bali added that the existence of PAKIS Bali, which has 19 administrators, has compiled a number of work programs that support activities in traditional villages as well as empower and strengthen the ability of wives in customary manners to carry out their respective swadharmas. Thus, the wife's manners will be able to become a subject in the authority of the traditional village and take part in carrying out the responsibility for improving the welfare of the community as well as preserving and maintaining traditions, customs and culture in traditional villages.

In its management, the Bali PAKIS board which was inaugurated on September 17, 2020 consists of Manggala, Penyesan, Petengen, then has 5 Pasayahan consisting of Traditional, Religion, Tradition, Art and Culture Pasayahan, then Education and Sports Pasayahan, Health Pasayahan, Pasayahan Economy and Welfare of Customary Manners, as well as Pasayahan Customary Law and Protection of Wives and Children. The existence of PAKIS Bali serves to support the MDA's tasks as a customary institution that has a legal umbrella, namely the Bali Provincial Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2019.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Provincial Indigenous Peoples Promotion Service, I GAK Kartika Jaya Seputra, said that the issuance of Perda No. 4 of 2019 concerning traditional villages is a very complete and clear legal umbrella regarding the existence of traditional villages in Bali. This regional regulation not only regulates governance in customary villages but also financial management of customary villages and empowerment of customary villages. With this regional regulation, traditional villages have the potential to develop the potential of their villages into business units to improve the welfare of their people.

The full support of the Bali Provincial Government for the existence of customary villages is not only in the form of regulations in the form of regional regulations but also supported by budgeting and representative buildings and supporting institutions such as PAKIS Bali. Thus, it is hoped that the existence of traditional villages in Bali will be stronger so that the traditional villages will be able to be politically sovereign, economically independent and have a cultural personality.
