DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Governor of Bali Wayan Koster and Chairperson of TP PKK Bali Province Putri Koster attended the 49th Commemoration of Movement Unity Day (HKG) 2021 at Ksirarnawa Building, Denpasar Cultural Park, Wednesday (March 24, 2021).
The Governor of Bali Wayan Koster as the Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province emphasized the important and strategic role of the PKK in the successful implementation of government programs in the community. As an organization with a clear structure from the central level to Dasa Wisma. PKK also plays an important role in socializing and implementing government programs.
For this reason, the Governor is committed to paying serious attention to the successful realization of the programs of the Bali Province PKK Driving Team. Where each PKK TP in each district / city receives a budget of Rp. 500 million to implement each of its programs.
"Serious attention to the PKK is realized with the support of budgeting facilitation which continues to increase starting in 2019, 2020. And hopefully in the next year it will increase even more. This policy was carried out because the PKK Driving Team had a clear legal basis and institutional mechanism and had a very strategic role in contributing to the success of government programs, " Koster explained.
Meanwhile, Putri Koster said that in the context of a series of implementation of the 49th PKK Unity Day 2021, various activities had been carried out in the form of Social Visits in the Framework of Greeting and Sharing. Among other things, providing 500 kg of rice assistance to malnourished toddlers and pregnant women in KEK (Chronic Energy Deficiency) and 30 cans of milk, 850 grams each for malnourished toddlers in each regency / city in Bali.
The social visit also synergizes with the Bali Province Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) which provides PMT assistance to KEK pregnant women and Heads of District / City TP PKK throughout Bali providing food package assistance and others according to the situation in their respective districts / cities. Furthermore, providing masks of assistance from the Central TP PKK to District / City TP PKKs totaling 50 boxes @ 500 pcs, to be subsequently submitted in stages by District / City TP PKK to District / Village / Kelurahan PKK TP. Social visits that began on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 to Buleleng Regency and finally on March 22, 2021 in Denpasar City. Then carry out the COVID-19 vaccination for the administrators of the Bali Province PKK Driving Team in order to support and succeed the vaccination program which was held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Kertha Sabha, together with PAKIS Bali and other community components.
"We carry out various activities that directly touch the community. Besides aiming to directly monitor the condition of the community in the field, it also provides motivation for both the community and PKK cadres to always work together in helping others.
