This commemoration ceremony is not only an expression of gratitude to God Almighty for the independence we enjoy, but at the same time as a reflection of our identity as a dignified nation born of warriors.

 

The selfless struggle and sacrifice of the heroes in the heroic event of Puputan Margarana on 20 November 1946 should be used as an example and an example of the fighting spirit of the heroes by all components of society in the current era, in fulfilling independence in order to achieve the Prosperous, just and prosperous Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. . "In line with this, it is very appropriate that the theme raised in the current commemoration is "IMPLEMENTING THE VALUES OF PUPUTAN MARGARANA TOWARDS EXCELLENT BALI, namely fighting against laziness and stupidity," Vice Governor Cok Ace said. "There are many things that can be learned from past historical events, one of which is togetherness in various differences. We may be different in our respective duties and functions, but we should be together in realizing social welfare.

 

For example, in the context of Balinese culture, we have local wisdom values ​​that are Adi Luhung, including the Tri Hita Karana concept and the concept of menyama braya. The value of local wisdom is in essence aligned with the values ​​of Pancasila as the basis of the state and the philosophy of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The concept of Tri Hita Karana teaches harmony and harmony in the relationship between humans and God Almighty, humans and each other and humans and nature and the environment. Meanwhile, the concept of menyama braya teaches the spirit of togetherness and kinship in solving various problems of everyday life,"  Cok Ace added. It was further conveyed, that reflecting on the concept of the value of past struggles which was adapted to current development concepts, through the momentum of commemorating the 76th Puputan Margarana Day in 2022,  Cok Ace invites all Balinese krama to continue to cultivate and improve a sense of social solidarity imbued with the spirit and noble values ​​of heroism to realize the welfare of the Balinese people with the Vision, Mission and Bali Development Program "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali" Through a Planned Universal Development Pattern which means "Maintaining the Sanctity and Harmony of Bali's Nature and Its Contents, to Realize a Prosperous and Happy Life for Krama Bali, Sakala-Niskala Towards the Life of Krama and Gumi Bali In Accordance with Bung Karno's Trisakti Principles, Being politically sovereign, economically independent and having a cultural personality through development in a patterned, comprehensive, planned, directed and integrated manner  Country frame Unity of the Republic of Indonesia Based on Pancasila Values ​​1 June 1945.
