Metatah Mass Ceremony Followed By Hundreds Citizen

Metatah (Teeth Cutting) mass ceremony in celebrate 523 Anniversary of Tabanan City followed by hundreds citizen of Tabanan. The ceremony was held in Wantilan Pakraman Bedha on Sunday 6 November 2016.
Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti expressed her pride to see hundreds of citizens participated in the Metatah (cutting teeth) mass and mewinten ceremony. "I also saw Camat ( Head District ) Penebel participate Metatah. A pride, there camat already gave examples Metatah want to follow the mass metatah. This does not diminish the meaning, so do not ever be ashamed to follow mass metatah ceremony. This is proof between officials and the people actually no different in the eyes of God, so we need to understand and we know it, we are all equal and we are all brothers, "She said.
She said that, beside following metatah ceremony, Balinese Hindu community, the obligation to implement mawinten ceremony. She did not expect the number of participants mewinten today exploded outside of the target. "Mewinten day event was attended by 650 participants, is beyond the target, I am very proud. This activity is our attention to the younger generation, how do we create the nation's next clear-minded and willing to do the homeland, hopefully with mewinten ceremony will born generations that could make Tabanan be better in the future,” She said.
One of the participants of mass metetah I Putu A Hendra Manik who is also as head district of Penebel, said his decision followed Mass Metatah because a sense of comfort and togetherness. "Previously I was with the family three times plans to show Metatah but there is always a hindrance, this may have been the way Metatah in this event together with the other communities" He said.
