SMAN 1 Baturiti, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency, held cooking lawar competition on Friday, August 18, 2017.The competition is held to preserve Balinese culture as well as to train students to master in lawar blend and to celebrate Saraswati Day.
Head of SMAN 1 Baturiti, I Gusti Ngurah Ketut Patimurawan explains, cooking lawar competition is annual events, every 6 months carried out before Saraswati Day. He said this is a form of concrete manifestation in preserving Balinese culture. "Indeed, we intentionally programed before Saraswati Day, train them in creating, especially making lawar," Patimurawan said.
He added, this competition is followed by all students ranging from class I to class III. Where the class represents its class each with a group number of about 6 people. Students are also preparing for all costs for completeness of the competition. "So this is the competition between classes," He added. RRBNC
