This dance was created by the Jegog maestro from Jembrana I Ketut Suentra in 1984, which began with the desire to make Jembrana increasingly known.

The performance begins with the strains of Jegog in the form of Tabuh Teruntungan Dhamar Hyang's which is a typical Jembrana musical instrument. After that, a musical instrument from bamboo was returned, namely the percussion of Darmakusuma, which had a meaningful meaning the process of achieving a successful work requires perseverance, patience and sacrifice to be balanced by good attitude or ethics.

This percussion is also the work of I Ketut Suentra. One of the best artists of Jembrana who is well known in his work is raising jegog art as a West Balinese art to become famous in foreign countries.
