Deputy Governor of Bali Cok Ace wants TPB Margarana to be an Education Center

Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) wants TPB Margarana to be used optimally as an education center to boost the fighting spirit of the younger generation. The hope was expressed by Deputy Governor Cok Ace when he received the Chairman of the LVRI Bali Regional Representative Council I Gusti Bagus Saputra and his staff in his office on Tuesday (July 9, 2019).
Furthermore Cok Ace added, all this time TPN Margarana was only used at certain moments such as the commemoration of Puputan Margarana Day every November 20th. In the future, he wants the existence of TPB Margarana to be more alive with periodic activities, especially in the fields of education and training. On that occasion, Cok Ace also paid attention to the presence of veterans. In the future, he hopes that assistance to organizations that oversee veterans can be carried out by one OPD.
Meanwhile, Chair of LVRI Bagus Saputra encourages a more massive socialization of the values of struggle, especially for the younger generation. "Millennials need to be indoctrinated about the values of struggle 45. If not, they will be misdirected," he said. He also hopes that educational institutions will be more intense in scheduling training related to efforts to increase fighting spirit. In other parts, Bagus Saputra also expressed his concern for the existence of a number of poorly maintained statues and monuments. For this reason, he called for the concern of the entire community to maintain and care for the statues and monuments that were witnesses to that history.
Deputy Governor Cok Ace appreciated LVRI's proposal and would coordinate with the OPD in charge. During the meeting, Deputy Governor Cok Ace was accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Social Service I Dewa Gede Mahendra Putra and a representative from the Regional Secretariat Public Welfare Bureau of Bali Province.
