Floods and Landslide Hit House of Residents in Bedugul

Bedugul tourism  area in  Candikuning village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency for the second time hit by landslides and flash floods .There were no fatalities in landslides and flash floods caused by the heavy rain on Thursday night February 9, 2017. However, material losses due to natural disasters reached 2 billion rupiah.

Some house residents eroded flash flood, two units of motorcycles also come drifting. Besides, the landslide had closed access roads Denpasar  to  Singaraja. Landslide as high as 3 meters closed the road near Mentari restaurant . Mud soil also  cover Eka Karya Botanic Garden, Ulun Danu Beratan Destination, Vegetable land residents were also mostly covered by mud soil.
Head of Department of the Environment Tabanan Regency A A Ngurah Raka Icwara which confirmed that the possible cause of the landslide Bedugul number of trees felled in the upstream. "The possibility is also due to the vegetation and the slope and the number of felled trees," he explained briefly.

Landslide at Bedugul area also occurred on December 21, 2016. At that time, a landslide destroyed  Tertai Bang Temple  and losses reached Rp  2 billion RRBNC
