Gilles Eyraud’s Family from France Became Participant in Cultural Parade Britama SVF 2017

Gilles Eyraud's family with his wife Magali and his daughter Lison from France became participants of a cultural parade at the closing of Britama Sanur Village Festival 2017, on Sunday, August 13,2017. They are proud to be greeted by people along the way with a friendly and appreciative attitude. "This is Bali's uniqueness that must be maintained," Magali said.

Cultural parade was held on Sunday afternoon involving about 1,000 residents who walk from Jl Danau Tamblingan to Area Maisonette Inna Grand Bali Beach. The procession was preceded by marching band Gita Merdangga from  SMP Wisata Sanur. Appeared among them a number of foreign tourists who participated in the parade by using traditional clothing that enliven the parade with the theme of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

BritAma Sanur Village Festival XII 2017 which has been held for 5 days closed by the Vice Mayor of Denpasar IGN Jaya Negara. Closure is marked by the release of hundreds of red-and-white balloons accompanied by balaganjur gamelan. The festival, which began on Wednesday (August 9, 2017), presents about 50 programs of activity involving and witnessed by hundreds of thousands of citizens.
Jaya Negara expressed pride in the consistency of the festival which has been held 12 times. He expects SVF to continue and further improve the quality in mobilizing the potential of citizens to improve tourism and community welfare. "May Sanur maintain a community-based tourism that is capable of mobilizing the potential of cultural arts, the environment, and other carrying capacity," Jaya Negara said.

Chairman of BritAma SVF Ida Bagus Gede Sidharta Putra or familiarly called Gusde said the festival of the 12th is increasingly confirmed the willingness of citizens to jointly encourage the economy through sustainable cultural tourism. He said in the promotion there are efforts to preserve and development of cultural arts and the environment. "The festival also provides space for the creative activities of citizens including micro, small and medium enterprises," he said.

Gusde said the festival involved 56 food festival participants from cafes, restaurants and hotels in Sanur. Culinary menu is the most popular citizens because it can be purchased with special festival prices. In addition there are 10 culinary trucks that offer a variety of snacks and food. RRBNC
