JICA Checks Electrical Projects in Jatiluwih World Cultural Heritage

JICA ( Japan International Cooperation Agency ) checks electrical projects in Jatiluwih World Cultural Heritage, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province.

After checking the project which is a collaboration between Tabanan regency government, Bali with Toyama government, Japan, JICA entourage led by Naoki Ando meet with the regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti in Tegeh Sub Village, Angsri Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan, on Friday October,20,2017.

"I know Tabanan and Toyama are working together on a hydroelectric project. So I looked at the progress of the project and wanted to bersilahturahmi with the Bupati's mother, " Naoki Ando said.

Naoki Ando also expressed interest in beauty, natural beauty and Balinese culture. So he felt called to participate in preserving and participating in development in Bali, especially Tabanan regency. "Seeing Bali is very beautiful nature and culture, we feel called to participate preserve and also build Bali itself. We are more interested in these projects in Bali, "he said.
Added Tabanan Regency has a beautiful rice field and the water is also clean. According to him it is the same with water and rice fields in Toyama City of Japan. "Because we know in Tabanan, the rice fields are beautiful, the water is also clean and also can generate electricity. it's energy-friendly electricity. We JICA support once, because Tabanan with Toyama have similarities, "he said.

The Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti said  welcomes, enjoy the natural beauty and culture of Tabanan and Bali in general. She, also thanked JICA, Japan in this case Toyama Municipal Government for helping in the construction of Micro Hydro Power Plant in Jatiluwih  Village and hope that the cooperation that has been built so far can continue not only for  Tabanan regency, but also for Bali.
