This was confirmed by Cok Ace during a coordination meeting related to community readiness in facing the Corona Virus threat, in the Meeting Room of the  Vice Governor's Office of Bali, Monday (March 2, 2020). The meeting was also attended by PHRI, BHA, Bali Tourism Office, Bank Indonesia and GM Angkasa Pura I.

"The tourism and government components must remain optimistic and continue to carry out positive promotions on how the community, actors and government are prepared to deal with the Corona virus. Because now is not the time for us to discuss the beauty of Bali or culture, but now is the time to talk about how we now anticipate that the virus do not enter Bali ", Cok Ace asserted.

Cok Ace also invited all parties to remain vigilant in responding to the situation with caution, lest the Bali economy plummet which would have fatal consequences for tourism actors. "We must continue to survive and maintain the psychological condition of public health conditions without having to ignore the health of citizens,"  Cok Ace added.

For the next few months, Deputy Governor Cok Ace asked all parties to change the pattern from closed to transparent at Ngurah Rai Airport. "Standby monitoring must be known transparently by tourists who use the airport as a transit point for choosing air transportation," Cok Ace said.

He added, referring to the data of the puskesmas and the Sanglah hospital, and stated explicitly that Bali was negative Covid 19.

Cok Ace said, in the future in order to restore the confidence of tourists both foreign and domestic, the government in cooperation with the tourism component will conduct several events with a view to introducing the convenience of Bali through rally fun involving (approximately) 300 antique vehicles traveling around Bali are being designed to restore tourist confidence to come and visit Bali. "That Event must be made on a national and international scale with costs independently or even collaborate according to plan in April-August," Cok Ace added.

In addition to promoting safe Bali, prevention, treatment and narrowing the spread of the virus are also a special consideration for all parties, especially the government and tourism actors to be a consideration that must be prepared from the beginning.

Meanwhile Prof. I Gde Pitana who was also present at the coordination meeting said that all parties should adhere to the three steps in dealing with this corona virus, namely the emergency phase, security, normalization

"In the emergency phase we are prepared with mitigation and communication that we assure the world outside that we are ready with prevention and we are ready with various detection devices," he explained. .

The event was held after three months (the panic period passed). So as not to destroy the world of tourism itself.

He said, in order to attract tourists back to come, it was necessary to do the maturation of every activity or event that would be carried out with an organized event plan with a balance, especially in all districts / cities. One of them is by making programs with tourism packages.

The Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office added that all parties were prepared with the best choice scenario so that tourism remained in a safe position without having to be in a panic condition for a relatively long time, and still maintain the concept of one island, one management and one language by embracing the relevant agencies.
