Balitopnews.com, DENPASAR - Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province  Mrs Putri Suastini Koster, stressed that women are now increasingly valued, but on the other hand there are still cases of physical violence experienced by women. The role of career women is very large because they must be able to divide themselves with the nature that is owned as a mother and wife.

"What we have to understand here is that women work not to rival the work of their husbands, but women work to educate future generations. like what happens abroad women must be educated until S3 because there women's education is useful for caring for children to become competent children, "Mrs. Putri Sustini Koster said  when receiving an hearing from the Branch Manager of the Federation of Tourism Trade Unions - All Indonesia Workers Union (PC FSP Par - SPSI) Badung Regency, located at the Residence of the Governor of Bali, Jaya Sabha, Denpasar, Monday (March 2, 2020).

On that occasion, Mrs. Putri Suastini Koster conveyed that gender equality should not be seen as the exact same rights and obligations without consideration. Because basically, women certainly will not be ready if they have to bear the heavy burden that is usually borne by men. Or conversely men will not be able to complete all the routine household tasks that women normally do.

Mrs. Putri Suastini Koster hopes that all those who join the SPSI Tourism Workers Federation Federation of Badung Regency will be closer, more solid and more motivated to jointly fight for the interests and needs of the workers. In the current era, our cohesiveness and togetherness as tourism workers is needed and we need to improve it more, " Mrs. Putri Suastini Koster said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the SPSI Par FPS Badung Putu Satyawira Marhaendra said in the context of the implementation of World Women's Day on March 8, 2020 and Kartini Day on April 21, 2020, which took place at the SPSI Office Building in the Province of Bali, Jln Gurita I No. 6 South Denpasar (Densel ) Denpasar, he hopes the presence of the Governor who is also the Chairperson of the Bali Province PKK Movers Team to provide motivation and enthusiasm for women workers in the Tourism sector. How they portray gender equality without having to forget their domestic duties but do not experience obstacles in their careers, positions and activities in the interests of the nation and state

He added that gender equality is one of our human rights. The right to live in dignity, free from fear and free to make life choices is not only for men. According to her, women also have the same rights, given the community's assumption that women's work is only an additional role and additional family income is one of the causes of the low level of female labor participation.
