Governor of Bali Wayan Koster Convey LKPD of Fiscal Year 2019 Faster 20 Days Than Deadline, Appreciated by BPK Bali

Balitopnews.com, DENPASAR – Governor of Bali  Wayan Koster accompanied by Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra and Head of OPD within the Bali Provincial Government submitted the Provincial Government Financial Report (LKPD) of Bali Province for Fiscal Year 2019, at the Bali Provincial Representative Audit Board (BPK) Building , Denpasar, Wednesday (March 11, 2020)

In his remarks, Governor Koster said that upon the results of the Bali Provincial Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2019 Budget Year, efforts had been made to improve consistently and continuously. "We hope that quality opinion without exception (WTP) of quality on the Bali Provincial Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2019 Budget Year can be achieved," Governor Koster explained

He emphasized that the WTP opinion on financial statements is not an objective, but is a process of certain stages to achieve an accountability of the entire process of accountability for the use of state finances. WTP opinion is a measure of accountability of financial management in each entity so that this opinion can measure the accountability process in a particular entity.

Governor Koster asked OPD heads to improve performance and provide the best service to the community, as well as sticking to the Norms of Standards for Procedures and Criteria (NSPK), specifically the suitability between implementation and accountability of financial statements.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Province BPK Representative, Sri Haryoso Suliyanto expressed his appreciation for the performance of the Governor of Bali and his staff who had submitted LKPD 20 days faster than the deadline for the end of March 2020.

Sri Haryoso conveyed that the financial statements received by BPK this morning had been conducted a previous review by the Inspectorate so that it was expected not to encounter many problems.

In submitting the financial audit results, the BPK will not only deliver information related to financial statements and compliance with existing regulations. But it will also add information related to macroeconomic developments and budget performance / financial performance.

"Within 60 days or around mid-May 2020, the BPK will submit the results of the financial audit which will be submitted to the Bali Provincial Parliament," he explained.

In the future, Sri Hariyoso hopes that cooperation and good communication will continue so that BPK will be able to work more objectively and speed up the examination process. (Balitopnews.com/md/rls)
