Vice Governor of Bali Cok Ace: Bali Forms Countermeasure Task Force Covid 19

Balitopnews.com, DENPASAR - Responding to the spread of covid 19, which until now there are 50 suspect patients, of which 50 patients have been declared negative, 1 is declared dead and 11 are still waiting for laboratory results. The Provincial Government of Bali has established the Countermeasure Task Force Covid 19.

This was confirmed by Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office Putu Astawa chairing the Bali Province preparedness meeting in facing COVID 19 in the Prajasabha Meeting Room, Bali Governor's Office, Thursday (March 12, 2020).

Vice Governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati or often called Cok Ace said the Covid 19 Task Force includes five task forces namely health task units, area task forces and public transportation, educational institution area task units, public communication task units and Indonesian entry force units. "This Task Force will be integrated to carry out the overall vigilance and prevention of Covid 19 and report on developments every day in accordance with the Covid 19 prevention protocol," Cok Ace explained.

Cok Ace said that responding to the spread of Corona Virus, Bali Provincial Government and related stakeholders continuously coordinated to take preventive measures as an effort to prevent the spread of Corona Virus.

He added, for the latest description of Covid 19 data in Bali Province based on data from the Bali Provincial Health Office that up to now there were 50 patients suspect Covid 19, of those 50 patients 38 had been declared negative, 1 was declared dead and 11 were still waiting for laboratory results.

"Regarding one foreigner who died from Covid 19 at Sanglah Hospital, the Bali Provincial Health Service is conducting contact tracing where patients have time to stay and take samples to everyone who has contact with those concerned," he said.

Meanwhile the Hospital designated as a referral for handling Covid 19 patients in addition to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, Sanjiwani Hospital in Gianyar, Tabanan Regional Hospital now Buleleng Regional Hospital has also been prepared as a designated hospital for the handling of Covid 19 in Bali Province.

"Going forward, the Bali Provincial Government will optimize prevention efforts, one of which is by intensifying efforts to disinfect Corona Virus sprayers, especially in public places throughout Bali," Cok Ace said.
