Balitopnews.com, DENPASAR - The government urges people to continue to comply with the Social Distancing rules to reduce the spread of Corona Virus Dieses 2019 (Covid -19). This was revealed by the Chairman of the Covid-19 Task Force Bali,  Dewa Made Indra, in a Press Update Case Update at the Bali Communication and Information Office Sunday (March 22, 2020).

In addition to appealing to continue to adhere to Social Distancing, Dewa Made Indra, who is also Secretary of Bali, asked the public to remain calm, and not spread hoax issues that could be troubling.

"Let us work together, improve mutual cooperation in efforts to prevent the spread of the corona virus so that this disaster will soon pass", Dewa Indra  said. He explained, for now the case of Patients Under Supervision (PDP) numbered 96 people. Of the 96 samples that have been tested, 73 people have come out of the sample, namely 70 negative people and 3 positive people (2 of them died). "Samples that have not come out as much 23 people are still waiting for the lab results, "he explained.

In addition to delivering an update on the Covid-19 case, the Chairperson of the Task Force also conveyed the efforts related to Covid-19. Among them decided quarantine efforts for Indonesian migrant workers from infected countries starting this Sunday (March 22, 2020). Quarantine is located at UPTD. Bapelkesmas Bali Provincial Health Office and Bali Provincial BPSDM. "So tonight the migrants from Bali will land at Ngurah Rai Airport, and we, the Provincial Government of Bali, accompanied by the KKP, the Police, the TNI and the relevant authorities will pick up the migrants who then do checks from the KKP regarding health certificates that have been brought by migrants from that country, after checking it will proceed by using the Trans Sarbagita bus to the quarantine place, "he said.

Regarding the quarantine of the migrants, the Bali Provincial Government requests the support and willingness of the migrant families to follow the applicable rules of conduct by not visiting, so that the quarantine can take place in an orderly and disciplined manner. In addition, the Provincial Government of Bali also asked for support from the Regency / City Government to participate in providing education socialization in quarantine areas and to disseminate information to the public in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Besides referring to the Central Government's policy, the Provincial Government of Bali will immediately conduct a screening test based on priority scale, which is planned to take place at the Kesdam Hospital (RSAD) and currently various preparatory efforts have been made.

Still according to Dewa Indra, to optimize the examination of Covid-19 laboratory tests, the Sanglah Hospital laboratory is preparing for the Covid-19 test to be conducted at Sanglah Hospital.

"In order to cope with efforts to spread the virus, the Provincial Government of Bali has also instructed all hospitals in Bali both public and private to close the hours of inpatient visits and restrictions on waiting for inpatients in all hospitals," he added.

Regarding health human resources (HR) in Sanglah Hospital, that the Provincial Government of Bali has collaborated with the Udayana Medical Faculty and several Health Universities in Bali to help mobilize their human resources so that Sanglah Hospital is not overwhelmed in handling patients.

In addition related to medical devices and personal protective equipment, that the Bali Provincial Government has coordinated with hospitals in Bali, so that fulfillment continues. In addition, the Provincial Government has also made various fulfillment efforts, including asking for help from the Central Government, but it is recognized that there is a shortage of PPE and Medical Devices that does not only occur in Bali. For this reason, the Provincial Government of Bali will continue to make efforts to fulfill it.

The map of the distribution of Covid 19 in Bali is different from the cases that occur outside of Bali, where there is no local transmission of the spread of the virus in Bali. Based on PDP data in Bali, most of them are foreigners, so the task force team has not been able to determine its territorial point.

Covid-19 disaster is an activity outside the budget that has been budgeted by the Provincial Government of Bali. But in every APBD there is an unexpected budget, where the unexpected budget amount for 2020 is 15 billion Rupiah. For this reason, in accordance with existing regulations, in handling this case, the Provincial Government of Bali uses the budget. If the budget is lacking and the situation is increasingly emergency, the Regional Government can reschedule and even exclude other activities. (Balitopnews.com/md/rls)
