Putri Koster Give Up Staple Food Assistance to The Elderly People When Attending Penggak PKK in Besan Village, Dawan, Klungkung

KLUNGKUNG, Balitopnews.com - Chair of TP PKK Bali Province Putri Koster accompanied by Regent of Klungkung Nyoman Suwirta and Chair TP PKK Klungkung Regency Ayu Suwirta attended the PKK Enforcement event held in Wantilan, Banjar Kawan, Besan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency , Monday (June 1, 2020 )
Putri Koster said that the Penggak PKK Activity was a form of concern and solidarity from the TP PKK administrators in Bali in synergy with the TP PKK of the Klungkung Regency to provide food aid to the community, especially the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Putri Koster added that in this Penggak activity the people who came could take food that had been provided on the table such as rice, sugar, coffee, vegetables and fruits. The staple food is purely a contribution from the managers of the TP PKK Bali Province and the TP PKK Klungkung Regency and does not use the budget from the APBD.
This Penggak Activity is planned to be held in 9 regencies of cities throughout Bali in rotation. This activity is expected to be able to help alleviate the community, especially in terms of food availability in the middle of the Corona pandemic.
Putri Koster also reminded the public to always follow health protocols wherever they are, such as wearing masks, diligently washing hands with soap in running water, and always keeping a distance. Thus it can break the chain of transmission of the Corona virus.
On this occasion, assistance was also given in the form of masks and pamphlets to the public regarding information about the Corona virus and efforts to prevent its spread. (Gix)
