Koster Hands Over Stimulus Assistance (PBSU) to the Economic Sector To Informal Business Groups, SMEs, MSMEs

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Governor of Bali Wayan Koster handed over economic stimulus assistance in the informal sector, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Small and Medium Industries (SMEs), Friday 3 July 2020.

 

Head of the Bali Province Cooperative and SME Office, Wayan Mardiana, said that the assistance was given to SMEs, MSMEs and IKM actors spread across nine regencies / cities in Bali with a total of 43,400 people, with an allocation of Rp. 78 billion 130 million.

 

"The amount of economic stimulus assistance per person is given Rp. 600 thousand with a period of three months. Namely in May, June and July, "he said 


 

The criteria for receiving this stimulus aid, continued Mardiana, namely Balinese residents with Balinese KTPs, both customary and tamiu (non-Hindu but Balinese KTPs) and pocketed recommendations from adat objects, a statement that the recipient did not receive net assistance social security, be it BLT, BTS, Family Hope Program, or Pre-Work Card.

 

"In addition, there is also a requirement for a statement from the village head stating that the recipient works in the informal sector or UMKM, IKM, and UKM," he explained.

 

Mardiana added, the withdrawal of the funds themselves would be transferred through the BPD Bali account. "The next requirement, the recipient of the assistance opens a BPD account. Because the funds are not in cash. But transferred to the account of each recipient. So this assistance is in the context of its survival, because the funds of Rp 600 thousand are impossible to recover their business continuity, "he explained.

 

While Bali Governor Wayan Koster said this assistance was targeted at 55,000 recipients.


 

"This assistance can cover expenses and lighten the burden. No pieces must be received intact," said Koster.

 

Koster also advised that they remain disciplined in implementing health protocols because informal sector workers are also at risk of exposure to covid-19. (Gix)
