DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - After the previous Governor of Bali Wayan Koster issued Bali Governor Regulation No. 12 of 2020 concerning the Reduction or Elimination of Administrative Sanctions in the Form of Interest and Fines on Motorized Vehicle Tax and Vehicle Transfer Fee, in the midst of the Pandemic Covid 19 situation the Governor of Bali again issued a policy set forth in Bali Governor Regulation No. 33 of 2020 concerning the Principal Exemption and / or Elimination of Administrative Sanctions in the Form of Interest and Fines for the Second and Next Fee for Transfer of Motorized Vehicle Name (BBNKB).

This is one form of response of the Government of the Province of Bali to the economic situation being faced so that the birth of the Governor Regulation can ease or provide relaxation to the community in carrying out its obligations.

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of the Bali Province Dewa Made Indra in the socialization event of the Enforcement of the Governor of Bali Number 33 Year 2020, in the Meeting Room of the Bali Provincial Regional Revenue Agency Office, Friday 3 July 2020.

Dewa Indra, who is also the Chairperson of the Bali Provincial Government's Samsat Guidance Team, said that this policy was taken by looking at various facts on the ground where the decline in Bali's economic growth was the impact of Covid 19 and the large number of vehicles operating and operating in Bali that still use police numbers outside Bali and Bali police numbered vehicles that have changed ownership (mutation) but have not yet done the name behind.

From the combined secret results conducted at the end of 2019 there are around 3,700 more four-wheeled vehicles outside of Bali which have been operating in Bali for more than three months, both private cars and commercial vehicles.

"Many vehicles have changed ownership or have a police number from outside Bali that has not yet been renamed, this is not because the community is undisciplined but also because of economic factors. For that reason, the Provincial Government of Bali has responded by eliminating fees for name transfers, not only fines and removed interest. but the basic costs are also removed, and this policy of eliminating the basic costs is the first time carried out, "he added.

Dewa Indra added that with the release of the second BBNKB fee and so on, it is hoped that people who still have a vehicle that has not yet been renamed to immediately come to the nearest Samsat service office from July 6 - December 18, 2020. With this BBNKB fee exemption, besides the community can fulfill their obligations to carry out behind the name of the vehicle on the other hand this will strengthen ownership of the vehicle.

"The presence of the Governor Regulation is to provide convenience and also ease the burden on society, especially in the midst of our economy which is declining due to a pandemic. For this reason, I ask that you take advantage of this opportunity, all vehicles in Bali are operating in Bali, but we have not yet returned the name, we hope to immediately take advantage of this incentive so that vehicle ownership is strong and legally valid. The government will also have more complete data related to the number of vehicles operating in Bali that have not yet been renamed, "he said.

Dewa Indra who was accompanied by the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of the Province of Bali I Made Santha also invited the four pillars that are under the service of Samsat namely the Provincial Government of Bali, the Police, Jasa Raharja and Bank BPD Bali to work together and build a joint commitment so that this policy runs effectively in the field where taxpayers who will carry out the name of their vehicle know this policy and come to the nearest Samsat service office. Not only that, the ranks of UPT Samsat throughout Bali are expected to provide the best service to the community.

"Disseminate to the public, provide the best information and services, friendly service, good service and appropriate services so that this policy will run effectively," he concluded. (Gix)
