Wayan Koster, said that the vision to maintain the sanctity and harmony of Bali's nature and its contents was a vision that was extracted from local Balinese wisdom. According to Governor Koster, what he has implemented as a blueprint for the development of Bali is based on the teachings of Balinese senior citizens, where life must be balanced, mutual respect, love and live in harmony with nature.

"With regard to clean nature, pollution must be avoided maximally," he said.

Therefore, Governor Koster made various environmentally friendly policies including encouraging the use of clean and renewable energy.

"Likewise with regard to energy, it must be clean energy, starting from the generator to the use of energy for the needs of infrastructure for daily life, including motorbikes," he said.

He added that in 2021 his party would issue a new SOP for the construction of hotels, restaurants, houses, supermarkets and all public facilities, which must use environmentally friendly electricity.

Wayan Koster said, with the issuance of the Bali Governor Regulation Number 45 of 2019 concerning Bali Clean Energy and the Governor Regulation Number 48 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles, many parties have submitted business plans to be developed in Bali.

"There's Gesits, there's Wijaya Karya, another day, sending a letter from a Pertamina subsidiary for the application of new and renewable energy. Then there are also 11 researchers from ITB who will develop research on new and renewable energy in Bali, "he said.

The governor welcomed the launch of the PLN SPBKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Battery Exchange Station), PLTS (Solar Power Plant) Photovoltaic and Grab Electric Vehicles, and encouraged business actors to be more involved in efforts to maintain the sanctity and harmony of Bali's nature. He believes that in this way the efforts made will receive the blessing of the Almighty.

“What this has done is a form of our way to keep nature clean so that Bali can truly be healthy. I think if the air you breathe is healthy, the lungs will be healthy, not sick, and they will live longer, ”Koster said.

GM PLN Distribution Bali Adi Priyanto said, PLN is currently promoting an electrifying lifestyle, where every community activity is expected to use electric equipment and vehicles with many advantages that can be felt by the community or the users themselves. In line with that, of course, supporting media are also needed to complement this electrifying lifestyle concept, and one of them is the battery swap stations of 7 locations that have been built and spread across Bali.

"This momentum can make Bali Province a spotlight and a model for other provinces in Indonesia that it is time for us to change to a new lifestyle that is cleaner and more comfortable, and even becomes an additional tourist attraction for the Province of Bali itself," he said.

Priyanto expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Bali for his attention and support in the use of electric vehicles in the province of Bali, where Bali is the first province to have a special Pergub regulating the use of battery-based electric motorized vehicles.

Managing Director of Grab Indonesia, Neneng Goenadi said, with the launch of 30 electric vehicles in Bali, Grab will become the first company to operate more than 5,000 electric vehicles in Indonesia.

"Certainly not without reason, this is a form of Grab's support for Bali Governor Regulation Number 45 and 48 of 2019 concerning clean energy and the use of battery-based electric motorized vehicles to create a clean Bali Island through environmentally friendly road traffic and transportation," he said. .

According to him, Grab will continue to be committed to supporting the Governor of Bali and the Provincial Government of Bali in realizing a better digital economy. (Gix)
