Legally, the Bali Provincial Government agencies have used an E-Office system that uses a certified Electronic Signature from the BSrE Electronic Certificate Center. The Bali Provincial Government is also one of thirteen local government agencies that are national priorities for the formation of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in 2021, in addition to 12 other central government agencies.

 

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Bali Province Dewa Made Indra when launching BALIPROV-CSIRT, at the Padma Hotel Resort Bali, Wednesday ( May 5, 2021).

 

"Because we have entered an electronic-based government system and are also vulnerable to the reality that the interference in cyberspace is so high. Therefore, when we enter a government system that uses information technology, we must also have endurance. "We all government agencies are also required to have a system that can defend itself from cyber interference, so that government information is not interfered with by other parties," Dewa Indra said

 

Based on the Decree of the Governor of Bali No. 326/03-E / HK / 2021 where the Chairperson of BALIPROV-CSIRT is the Head of the Office of Communication, Informatics and Statistics, Bali Province.

 

Sitting as the coordinator of BALIPROV-CSIRT is the Head of the Bali Province Communication, Informatics and Statistics (Diskominfos) and its constituents are all the Heads of Regional Apparatus within the scope of the Bali Provincial Government, the Bali Provincial Computer Security Incident Response Team (BALIPROV-CSIRT) in general is to coordinate and collaborating cybersecurity services and building cybersecurity resource capacity in the Bali Provincial Government


 

Head of the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Lieutenant General TNI (Purn) Hinsa Siburian who was present virtually said that the existence of CSIRT was very important to protect data, identity and administration from the threat of cyber crimes committed by irresponsible people. The formation of a competent team is also intended to assist the government in managing the secrecy of its regions with an interest in supporting development and its people.
