Bali, Tops in the National Public Information Disclosure Index (IKIP)

DENPASAR,Balitopnews.com - The province of Bali manageto become the best in the value of the Public Information Openness Index (IKIP) from 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. This achievement was ordained in the activities of the National Board of Supervisors (NAC Forum/National Assessment Council). Bali is at the top with an accumulated score of 83.15, followed by West Kalimantan with a score of 80, 38 and Aceh in the third position with a value of 79.51.

 

The NAC Forum is a means for analyzing the results of the 2021 IKIP assessment by Central Expert Informants and Regional Expert Informants as well as the Central and Provincial KI Working Groups (Working Groups). The determination of the National IKIP value in 2021 itself is 71.37 which was announced by the Central KI to the public, Friday, September 17, 2021 at ICE BSD, South Tangerang, Banten.

 

Head of Central KI Gede Narayana explained that the National IKIP score was the result of an analysis of the assessment of 312 Expert Informants (IA) in 34 Provinces which gave an index of 72.60 and the results of 17 National IA assessments which gave an index of 68.54, the 2021 National IKIP assessment is a description of the implementation of information disclosure. Public during 2020 from January to December.



 

Narayana explained that the preparation and implementation of IKIP 2021 which lasted for one year had succeeded in establishing IKIP nationally for the first time since 10 years of implementing Public Information Openness in the country. He conveyed, with the results of the National IKIP 202I, it can be clearly seen the level of success in the implementation of Law 14/2008 concerning Public Information Openness (KIP). public in Indonesia and will be a reinforcement of the challenges or obstacles in the implementation of the UU KIP itself," he said.


 

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Province Information Communication and Statistics Agency, Gede Pramana who was contacted separately, stated that this achievement was an achievement of the Bali Provincial Government. "This good achievement has been known by the Governor and has received appreciation from him. This shows the commitment of the Governor and the Bali Provincial Government in providing optimal public services, especially related to public information,"   Pramana said.
