DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Vice Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) expressed his appreciation to all components of society who have built synergies in handling the Covid-19 pandemic in the Bali Region.

This synergy and hard work has yielded results, namely decreasing the number of additional positive cases of Covid-19 in the last few days so that the Bali Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) has dropped to level 3 and a number of areas have been designated as yellow zones.

This was conveyed by Cok Ace during the delivery of oxygen cylinders and oxygen generator machines assisted by the Bali Province Bank Indonesia Representative Office which was coupled with the launching of the digitization movement for private hospital payments in the Auditorium Room of the Bali Mandara Hospital, Wednesday ( September 22, 2021).

Cok Ace said that Bali's success in controlling Covid-19 cannot be separated from the hard work of health workers who are on the front lines and supported by the active role of the community in complying with health protocols

"It was a tremendous sacrifice, they worked with great risks," he said.

Cok Ace hopes that the synergy that has been built can be strengthened and improved. Because until now no one can predict when the Covid-19 pandemic will actually end.

"Let's continue to build synergies so that the situation continues to be under control, positive confirmation cases are increasingly sloping and PPKM Bali can immediately drop to 2 to 1," he hoped.

The ISI Denpasar professor also expressed his gratitude to the Bali Province BI Representative Office for donating 500 oxygen cylinders and an oxygen generator machine to meet the needs of the Covid-19 referral hospital in Bali. In addition, he also welcomed the online payment movement using QRIS in hospitals. According to him, currently digitizing the payment system is not just a lifestyle but has become a necessity.

"Digitalization of payments will reduce the risk of disease transmission, not only Covid-19 but also other diseases," he concluded.

The Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Bali Province, Trisno Nugroho, conveyed that the assistance of 500 oxygen cylinders and an oxygen generator engine was BI's contribution in assisting efforts to deal with Covid-19 at the Referral Hospital.

"We have distributed aid in stages to ten hospitals and private RSU associations in Bali from 20 to 29 September 2021," he said.

He hopes that this assistance will be useful for handling Covid-19 patients. On that occasion, he also invited all parties to work together to deal with Covid-19 so that the situation is more under control and efforts to improve the Balinese economy can be accelerated.

At the event, oxygen cylinders were symbolically handed over to Bali Mandara Hospital, Wangaya Hospital, and the Association of Private Hospitals in Bali. The event ended with the launching of the use of QRIS in paying hospital fees. The event was also attended by Member of Commission XI DPR RI I Gusti Agung Rai Wirajaya, Head of the Group Department of Public Institution Relations and Management of BI Social Programs M. Nur, Mayor of Denpasar IGN Jaya Negara and President Director of PT. BPD Bali I Nyoman Sudharma.(gix)
