Pertamina and Hiswana Migas of DPC Bali Hand Over Basic Food Assistance

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Vice Governor of Bali Tkorjorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati was accompanied by the Head of the Bali Province BPBD Made Rentin, Monday (April 27, 2020) at the Bali Governor's Office, symbolically receiving food aid provided by Pertamina and Hiswana Migas DPC Bali.

 

Vice Governor Cok Ace on the occasion, expressed his gratitude for the help from Pertamina and Hiswana Migas. According to him, this kind of assistance is needed by the community during the current situation. Besides that, given the large number of people affected by layoffs, the Provincial Government continues to update beneficiary data. To that end, Deputy Governor Cok Ace assured even the Bali Provincial Government through the Bali Provincial Social Service and BP3A, Bali Provincial BPBD and PHRI are currently trying to keep on updating the data, so that no disadvantaged people cannot get rocks. "So we want the aid to be fair and equitable so that there is no impression of favoritism in the community, for that Mr. Bali's Governor has also issued instructions to the Bali Customary Villages to conduct data collection, so that in the future aid will be disbursed based on real data in the field" , he said.


 

Responding to this, Pertamina Retail Bali Sales Area Manager Deni Sukendar appreciated the steps of the Bali Provincial Government in updating the data. According to him at a time like this indeed real data in the field is needed so that people get fair and equitable assistance. For this reason, he said that this time the donation was in the form of Medical Devices, Supporting Equipment, and 500 pcs of healthy food packages purchased from the harvests of farmers in Bali who are currently entering the harvest season in an effort to help the economy of Balinese farmers.

 

The donation given is equivalent to 125 million rupiah and will be submitted to the Provincial Government of Bali which will then be managed by the Covid-19 Task Force Handling Task Force. Furthermore, he also said that in the effort to prevent Covid-19, Pertamina and Hiswana Migas had also provided Portable Sinks and spraying in all gas station and LPG facilities and had supported efforts at home by providing delivery services for BBM and LPG.
