During the Covid-19 pandemic Putri Koster said the PKK was not standing still, but worked together with the government to participate in socializing various government policies in fighting the virus. As for the policies being disseminated, such as the new era life order protocol, which includes health protocols and protocols for preventing the spread of Covid-19.
One of them is the Gebrak Masks program, which is a program to distribute masks to the community carried out by TP PKK throughout Indonesia. Putri Koster admitted that the use of masks has so far proven to be very effective in reducing the spread of the Covid-19.
"The distribution of free masks is prioritized for the less fortunate first," explained the woman who is familiarly called Bunda Putri.
She said his party had continued to coordinate with the Regency / City PKK TP to distribute the free masks. Because according to her the Regency / City TP PKK knows more about the areas and communities that need them, so that they are forwarded to TP PKK cadres at the sub-district level to the village level.
This program was carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia and was initiated by the TP PKK'S Central Tri Tito Karnavian. Putri Koster hopes that through this program it can ease the burden on the community who are indeed having trouble buying masks.
During this pandemic, TP PKK was also active in inviting women and mothers in Bali to be more creative in helping the family economy. One of them is by meeting basic needs at the household level through growing food items such as vegetables and herbs. According to her, he has been intensifying this program since early 2019 through HATINYA PKK. If the program has indeed been implemented by most Balinese people, she believes that during this pandemic, basic needs will not be a significant problem.
TP PKK also synergizes to support and participate in socializing the Bali Provincial Government's activities, namely the Mutual Cooperation Market which is held every Friday in all agencies in the Bali Provincial Government. This activity aims to assist farmers in distributing their crops to consumers. So far he admitted that the public and ASN in the Bali Provincial Government are very enthusiastic about welcoming the Gotong Royong Market. "Apart from low prices, there is no doubt about the quality of the goods," She added.
Meanwhile, as Chairman of the Dekranda, she admitted that she had distributed various assistance to craftsmen since the beginning of the pandemic. She said that his party had distributed around 410 tons of rice for craftsmen and masks.
She also continues to invite craftsmen to be more creative in marketing their products in this new era of life order. "In the future we will develop a market place application called Bali Mall, so craftsmen can market their products there," She added.
She added that during this pandemic, digital marketing needs to be done so that the market will expand. Therefore, she admitted that he would facilitate through the application. In addition, she also hopes that in the future craftsmen will be able to hold exhibitions virtually.
Talking about Balinese women, do not forget that Putri Koster always praises and views Balinese women as extraordinary and versatile women. This has been proven in his efforts from taking care of the household, taking care of work to customary events in the villages. According to her the role of Balinese women is very large. Because she has been accustomed to sweating for a long time, taking care of the household while working and taking part in customs, she believes that in this pandemic era, the creativity of Balinese women is not in doubt. Meanwhile, Chairman of the TP PKK Tabanan Regency, Rai Wahyuni Sanjaya, said that her party continues to support various TP PKK programs in Bali Province and continues to coordinate, both with the TP PKK Bali Provincial and cadres at the sub-district and village levels.
Programs such as the use of masks and even previously the HATINYA PKK program have also been implemented well in Tabanan Regency. "This is also inseparable from the assistance of Mrs. Putri Koster as the Head of the TP PKK Bali Province," she explained.
On this occasion, Putri Koster also handed over 1,000 masks to the Tabanan Regency PKK TP to be distributed to people in need.
