The Chairperson of The  Dekranasda Bali Participates in Opening The Indonesian Creative Works (KKI) 2020 Series II

DENPASAR-BALI, Balitopnews.com. The Chairperson of the Dekranasda  Bali Province , Putri Suastini Koster, participated in the virtual opening of the Indonesian Creative Work (KKI) 2020 series II from the residence of the Governor of Bali, Jayasabha Denpasar, Tuesday, October 7, 2020.

 

KKI is an annual event that displays quality products from BI-assisted MSMEs, in synergy with related ministries / institutions. KKI 2020 was implemented with a virtual concept and carried out in series, namely series I 'Synergy for Export MSMEs' which was held from August 28-30 2020, series II' Synergy for Digital MSMEs' which will be held on October 7, 2020, and series III 'Synergy UMKM for Millennial Friends', will be held in November 2020.

 

Also attending at the opening of the KKI 2020 series II included the General Chairperson of the Dekranas Wury Ma'ruf Amin, BI Governor Perry Warjiyo, the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah, the head of BI representatives throughout Indonesia, as well as the heads of the provincial and district / city Dekranasda throughout Indonesia.


 

BI Governor Perry Warjiyo stated, with the theme "Encouraging MSMEs as a New Force for the National Economy in the Digital Age", the 2020 KKI was also part of BI's real support for the Proud National Movement Made in Indonesia (Gernas BBI).

 

Perry stated that this virtual exhibition was attended by around 377 MSMEs assisted by Bank Indonesia consisting of fabric craftsmen, food and beverage entrepreneurs, craftsmen and coffee MSMEs.

 

He also invited all Indonesian people to visit this KKI exhibition virtually through the website www.karyak Kreatifindonesia.co.id. To make it easier for people to find the product they want. BI has prepared a catalog and can be downloaded on the website.

 

"In the future, BI is committed to continuing to encourage MSMEs in Indonesia as the backbone of the nation's economy, and to continue to synergize with related ministries and institutions," he said.

 

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Dekranas Wury Ma'ruf Amin greatly appreciated the steps taken by BI and related institutions in advancing MSMEs in Indonesia, among others by facilitating various exhibitions. According to him, the selection of this digital exhibition is very good, considering that the current Covid-19 pandemic situation makes it impossible to carry out gathering activities.

 

She appreciated the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BI and Dekranas to encourage the production of Indonesian MSMEs. "I hope that with this virtual exhibition taking place, Indonesians can participate and make transactions to help the nation's economy," She said.

 

The same thing was said by the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah, that UMKM has been the savior of the nation's economy and absorbs quite a lot of workforce in Indonesia.


 

According to him, around 57.8% of Indonesia's GDP comes from MSMEs, 99.99% of business units in Indonesia are MSMEs, even MSMEs have also absorbed a workforce of 97% of the total workforce in Indonesia. For that, continued Ida Fauziah, the existence of UMKM must be considered so that it continues to develop according to the times.

 

He also hopes that MSMEs in Indonesia can comply with the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, by using technology, both in production, transactions and marketing, so that they can penetrate global and international markets. (Gix)
