The Bali Provincial Government Wins Three Awards from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights

JAKARTA, Balitopnews.com - The Provincial Government of Bali won three awards from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. The three awards were as Members of the 2020 National Best Documentation and Legal Information Network (JDIH) in the Province category. The second achievement, Bali has been named a province with 100% national JDIH membership and has a JDIH page that is integrated with the JDHIN.go.id portal.

 

The third award was won by the Office of Communication, Informatics and Statistics of Bali Province which was named the supporting agency for JDIH facilities at Regency / City Government Agencies in Bali Province.

 

The three awards were received by the Head of the Bali Province Communication and Information Agency Gede Pramana and the Head of the Bali Provincial Secretariat Legal Bureau Ida Bagus Gede Sudarsana at the National Meeting of JDIH Managers and the Awarding of the Best JDIHN Members of 2020 at Prof Mudjono Hall, Office of the National Legal Development Agency (BPHN) Jakarta, Thursday November 26, 2020


 

Following the Covid-19 prevention health protocol, the award ceremony was held in a combination of offline and online.

 

The Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yassona Hamonangan Laoly, gave the highest appreciation to agencies at the central, provincial, and district and city levels that have succeeded in managing JDIH.

 

"With a good information system management, the regulations can be accessed easily and quickly by stakeholders and the public. For us, information is something of strength because with information, we can make decisions quickly and accurately," he explained.

 

He added that currently Indonesia is no longer competing with big countries, but what it is facing now is a fast country. Therefore, the speed of information technology is the power to win the competition.

 

"I really really appreciate the provinces, regencies, cities and other agencies whose JDIH has been integrated," he said.

 

Meanwhile, the Head of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights National Law Development Agency Benny Riyanto reported that until 2020, JDIHN already has 1,650 members. As the center of JDIH, BPHN continues to coordinate and provide guidance to JDIH members through technical guidance activities as well as coordination meetings at central and regional levels.


 

In addition, since 2014, BPHN has routinely given appreciation to the best JDIH Members for several categories, namely central agencies, provincial governments, district governments, and city governments. This award is expected to spur the enthusiasm of other JDIH members to compete with innovation and creativity.

 

In the future, he wants JDIH management to continue to be improved. One of them is by optimizing the JDIH as a "portal" to search for legal documents and a database of legal documents that is easily accessible, complete, accurate and reliable.

 

Regarding the three awards that were won, Kadis Kominfos Gede Pramana said that this achievement would increase the enthusiasm of the Bali Provincial Government, especially the Ministry of Communication and Information to realize the ideals of "Bali One Data" and the development of a strong and resilient Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) towards achieving Bali. Smart Island with six main components, namely Atma Kerthi, Segara Kerthi, Danu Kerthi, Wana Kerthi, Jana Kerthi and Jagat Kerthi as outlined in the concept of Sad Maha Kerthi (Collaborated Government Management Digital Service System and Sad Kerthi Harmony).
