DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - The Regional Development Bank (BPD) as one of the potential local regional resources should be encouraged and strengthened in its capacity to support the development of the regional economy. I am very happy to be involved in regional economic development policies, as well as actively providing inputs in developing the capacity of BPD Bali," Governor Koster said while detailing The efforts that have been made to support the capacity of the BPD by providing additional capital disbursements, strengthening competitiveness with the application of information technology so that competitiveness and public perception of BPDs increase
"We want to build the image of BPD Bali as a bank for the Balinese people, in order to build a spirit to make BPD their choice. BPD Bali has a very good performance, especially in supporting Bali's MSMEs. Nearly 40 percent of the credit issued is for MSMEs," he explained. This was accompanied by the Managing Director of BPD Bali Nyoman Sudharma and the Head of the Economic and Development Administration Bureau of Bali Province, Cok Bagus Pemayun.
Other efforts that continue to be pursued in support of BPD are continuing to promote the use of BPD services by State Civil Servants (ASN) both within the Bali Provincial Government and Regency / City Governments throughout Bali.

In line with Governor Koster, Chairman of the Indonesian OJK Commissioner Wimboh Santoso as the keynote spech also hopes that BPD will become the frontline and leading economic driver in the regions, so that they should be supported by their respective local governments both in terms of capital and policy.
Another keynote speech, Director General of Regional Finance Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs Muhammad Alfian Novianto hopes that BPD can carry out other financial intermediation functions, which can act as the parent of the BPR.
