KLUNGKUNG, Balitopnews.com - The goal of the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster in realizing the Priority Program for Land, Sea and Air Infrastructure Development in a connected and integrated manner in the Bali Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali Regional Development Vision through the Plan of Universal Development Planning towards a New Era Bali finally can be built in 2020, one of which is the construction of the Sanur - Denpasar Port, the Munjul - Nusa Ceningan Bias Crossing Port, and the Sampalan - Nusa Penida Port in Klungkung Regency.

This was proven by Wayan Koster when he laid the first stone for the construction of the Munjul Bias Crossing Port in Nusa Ceningan at Purnama Kepitu, Tuesday, Anggara Wage, Ugu December 29, 2020.

The main reason for Governor Koster's determination to realize the three ports is because he feels compelled to provide the best service to the Balinese people to world tourists who want to cross from Sanur to Nusa Penida Island, and Nusa Ceningan Island in Klungkung Regency.

"This is not a promise for the Bali Governor Election, but because there is an intention that makes my spirit of struggle moved when at that time in 2017 crossing to Nusa Penida in socialization activities to become a candidate for Governor of Bali, from Sanur I feel my concern because I see many Balinese people and foreign tourists must in his arms, there is also someone who raises the cloth of his pants, until he opens his shoes to avoid the waves towards the speed boat, "he told the people of Nusa Ceningan.

Due to this condition, the Governor from Sembiran Village, Buleleng had invited the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, Member of the Bali Parliment  and Chairman of the Denpasar City Parliment  I Gusti Ngurah Gede to come down to review the port conditions in Sanur, and on that occasion Wayan Koster expressed his promise that if he becomes the Governor of Bali, he will build ports in Sanur, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan with the ability of the government network he has at the national level.

"It turns out that we are grateful that the plan to develop the Sanur, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan Triangle Ports was realized thanks to good intentions to find a good path, because in 2019 I was called by President Joko Widodo, there I reported one of these port development plans and was immediately responded to by the President, until then in 2020 this will be realized in a fast period of time with a large budget, "he said.

So the governor, who has a simple appearance, expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, and this was realized thanks to the extraordinary attention of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Karya Sumadi for the island of Bali.

Meanwhile, Director General of Land Transportation Budi Setyadi stated that the Minister of Transportation advised that the construction of this port should use local wisdom, and be physically able to provide the best benefits for the community with timely development and attention to safety aspects.

Because the construction of this port uses a fairly large state budget, reaching Rp. 97 billion and was built by PT. Nindya Karya, on that occasion the Director General of Land Transportation, Budi Setyadi, in front of the Representative of the Bali High Prosecutor's Office requested assistance from the Prosecutor's Office to continue, so that this development can run smoothly and with quality.

"After we finish this work, then in the future we are thinking about who will be the port operator? Is it the Bali Provincial Government, or the Klungkung Regency Government. Moreover, the building maintenance issues also need to be considered, in order to create safety for people who want to dock around Nusa Penida Island and head for Sanur, "he said while stating that he was ready to back up the policies of Mr. Governor Koster, because Bali will be perfected for the first time for tourism

Hearing this, Governor Koster added that regarding who will be the operator of this port, whether it is the Central Government, ASDP, the Bali Provincial Government, or the Regency / City Government, it is entirely up to the Minister of Transportation.

Considering that Nusa Penida has a very strong spiritual attraction, with the existence of Ratu Gede Temple in Dalem Ped and the very high community and tourism activities from Sanur to Nusa Penida, for that Wayan Koster asked PT. Nindya Karya so that the port construction process is carried out professionally, with good quality, and completed on time. Not only that, this former member of the DPR-RI 3 Periods from the PDI-P Faction also asked that the port design reflect local wisdom, arts and culture in Nusa Ceningan, Nusa Penida District.

"I also discussed the design of this port. I hope that the Triangle Ports of Sanur, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan will become icons,"  Governor Koster explained who is very keen to promote Balinese culture.

The event was also attended by the Regent of Klungkung, Nyoman Suwirta, Chairman of the Klungkung DPRD, Anak Agung Gde Anom, Representatives of the Bali High Prosecutor's Office, Head of the Bali Province Transportation Agency, I Gede Wayan Samsi Gunarta, to the Land Transportation Management Center (BPTD) Region XII Bali Province and West Nusa Tenggara Province.

Previously, the Indonesian Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, and the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, had laid the groundwork for the commencement of the construction of the Sanur - Denpasar Port and Sampalan Port in Nusa Penida. In terms of budget, the construction of the Triangle Ports of Sanur, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan is sourced from the Ministry of Transportation's APBN with a total of Rp. 555 billion, consisting of a budget for the construction of the Sanur Port of Rp. 376 billion, for the Sampalan Port of Rp. 82 billion, and Munjul Bias Port of Rp. 97 billion.

So that Sampalan Port and Munjul Bias Port in Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency are planned to be completed by the end of 2021 and Sanur Port, Denpasar City is planned to be completed in mid-2022. (gix)
