Bali Provincial Government Gives Discount on Tax Receivables, Free Transfer of Names and Motor Vehicle Tax Collection

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - In the midst of the ongoing pandemic conditions, and the economic condition of the Balinese people who are still not recovering, the Bali Provincial Government has again carried out tax relaxation through The Governor Bali  Regulation Number 21 of 2021 concerning Exemption of Tax Principals and Elimination of Administrative Sanctions in the Form of Interest and Fines Against Motor Vehicle Tax and Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee.

 

In addition, in 2021, The Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, issued three policies at once, namely Discounts on Vehicle Tax Receivables, Free Transfer of Names and Bleaching of Motor Vehicle Taxes.

 

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of the Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra at the Bali Governor's Strategic Policy socialization event at the Bali Provincial Revenue Agency, on Wednesday ( June 2, 2021).


 

Furthermore, the policy of FREE Transfer of Names for Motorized Vehicles II (BBNKB II) starts from September 4 to December 17, 2021. Free BBNKB II is given to taxpayers who will carry out the transfer process, local mutations and mutations from outside Bali.

 

Meanwhile, the tax whitening policy is an exemption from interest and fines for the payment of motor vehicle tax (PKB) and transfer fees for motorized vehicles II (BBNKB II), which will take effect from 8 June to 17 December 2021.

 

For this reason, with the tax relaxation, Dewa Indra hopes to provide space and opportunities for the public to resolve tax matters in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, besides that the relaxation is also expected to increase regional income.

 

"I hope that this policy can be understood by the officers in the field and then socialize it to the community and provide excellent service to the community when the community is carrying out their obligations and I ask the officers to ensure that the community also gets their rights as regulated in this regulation," he concluded.


 

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Provincial Revenue Agency, Made Santha, said that in addition to the tax relaxation policy of the Governor of Bali, there was also a tax relaxation policy issued by the Central Government through the Ministry of Finance as regulated in PMK No. 20/PMK.010/21 concerning Sales Tax on Luxury Goods on the Delivery of Taxable Goods Classified as Luxury in the Form of Certain Motorized Vehicles Borne by the Government in 2021.


 

"If people buy certain cars that have been regulated by the government, the purchase tax will be paid 100%. of the PPnBM payable for the tax period March 2021 until the tax period May 2021, the second period is 50% of the PPnBM payable for the tax period June 2021 until the tax period August 2021 and the third period is paid 25% of the PPnBM payable for the tax period September 2021 until the tax period in December 2021," he said.

 

“This policy opportunity is only valid for this year or will not necessarily be given in the coming years. For this reason, it is hoped that this policy will be used as widely as possible by the community,” he concluded.(gix)
