DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - In order to control the supply of food availability and food prices ahead of Christmas and New Year 2024, the Bali Provincial Government through the Bureau of Goods, Services and Economic Procurement in collaboration with Bank Indonesia, Bank BPD Bali, Bulog, TPID Bali Province, Paiketan Perumda Pangan and Pertamina held a Cheap Market, which took place in front of the Bali Governor's Office, on Sunday ( December 10, 2023)
On this occasion, The Acting Governor of Bali S.M Mahendra Jaya and Mrs. Drg. Ida Mahendra also attended and shopped at the cheap Market. Mahendra Jaya, apart from taking advantage of this moment to shop, also directly dialogues with traders regarding current food prices and supplies. Most traders said that ahead of Christmas, food supplies were still safely available and under control in the field.
The cheap market event will be held 4 times, namely 10, 17, 24 and 29 December, which will be attended by 50 traders providing basic commodities such as red bell peppers, garlic, chilies, rice, oil, sugar, rice and chicken at affordable prices. .
In this event, The Acting Governor of Bali was accompanied by several Heads of OPD within the Bali Provincial Government. (Rls/Btnc)
