The Acting Governor of Bali is Committed to Maintaining WTP Opinion Achievements and Improving the Quality of Bali Province LKPD

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - The Acting Governor of Bali, S.M.Mahendra Jaya is highly committed to maintaining the Bali Province's Unqualified Opinion (WTP) achievement which has been achieved for 10 consecutive years from 2013, as well as improving the quality of the Bali Province Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD).
This was conveyed by Acting. Governor of Bali in his remarks at the 2023 Interim Examination Exit Meeting, LKPD of Bali Province, in the Sabha Adhyastha Meeting Room of the Bali Provincial Inspectorate Office, Monday ( March 18, 2024)
Further in his speech, The Acting Governor of Bali Mahendra Jaya said that the Bali Provincial Government had taken a number of strategic steps in an effort to maintain the WTP's opinion on LKPD and at the same time improve the quality of LKPD from year to year. A number of efforts have been made including coaching to improve accounting and reporting human resources through the 'Semi-Workshop towards Effective, Efficient, Transparent and Accountable LKPD' activities, preparation of supporting working papers for regional officials as accounting entities through Silau Pemda, intensive cash reconciliation to ensure balances cash that is in accordance with bank data, as well as more intensive asset reconciliation which is carried out on a quarterly basis. "We express our gratitude for the assistance from the BPK team during the process of preparing the LKPD, we are highly committed to continuing to improve and increase the quality of our financial management from year to year," he added
Meanwhile, the Chief Representative of the Bali Financial Audit Agency (BPK), I Gusti Ngurah Satria Perwira, in his speech said that the BPK team had finished carrying out interim audit duties from February 5 2024 to March 16 2024 as part of the 2023 LKPD audit. with the aim of monitoring the follow-up to previous years' audit results, assessing the effectiveness of SPI (Test of Control/ToC) in preparing LKPD, assessing compliance with statutory provisions and substantive tests carried out limited to certain transactions/account balances. The Head of BPK Bali added that the Unaudited LKPD FY 2023 which will be submitted to the BPK is one that has been reviewed by the Inspectorate and has been balanced, supported by the results of analytical testing between reports and is accompanied by supporting documents such as Statement of Responsibility of Regional Heads, Inspectorate Review Results, BLUD Financial Report, BUMD Financial Reports, and Regional Government Performance Realization Overview Reports. The Unaudited LKPD is equipped with disclosure of regional macroeconomic data including unemployment rates, Gini ratios, HDI and poverty rates, explanations of achievements over the last three years, and disclosure of mandatory spending performance data in the APBD posture. "We want from year to year that the LKPD not only achieves WTP opinions but the most important thing is to improve the quality of the WTP itself. "WTP opinions from time to time can provide benefits and quality according to the activity program," he said. The 2023 Interim Inspection Exit Meeting, LKPD for Bali Province this morning was also attended by the Bali Provincial Inspector, I Wayan Sugiada, Head of Regional Apparatus within the Bali Provincial Government as well as a team of examiners from the Bali Province BPK.
