Temesi Village is Ready to Become a Tourist Destination, Mahendra Jaya Appreciates TP PKK Bali Province

DENPASARA, Balitopnews.com – The Acting Governor of Bali, S. M. Mahendra Jaya, expressed his appreciation to TP PKK Bali Province PKK for choosing Temesi Village in Gianyar as a Model Development Village. Mahendra Jaya hopes that the village, which has been known as a rubbish dump, will turn into one of the leading tourist destinations in Bali. "The PKK program must be a priority, because PKK grows from society and aims to create independent and prosperous families," Mahendra Jaya said while attending the Coordination Meeting for the Inauguration of the Model Villages Assisted by TP PKK Bali Province in Jayasabha, Denpasar, Friday (October 18, 2024)
Mahendra Jaya highlighted various tourism potentials in Temesi Village, such as Temesi Waterfall and Taman Baginda, which are ready to be developed. He also praised the murals decorating the village roads, which he said would add to the tourist attraction. "With programs such as Telajakan Bersemi and Aku Hatinya PKK, as well as the Dental Care Village Program, I am sure that Temesi Village will become increasingly known, not only as a rubbish dump, but also as a tourist village," Mahendra Jaya emphasized.
Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province, Mrs. Drg. Ida Mahendra Jaya, on the same occasion, reported on preparations for the inauguration of Temesi Village as a Model Assisted Village. This inauguration will take place on October 25 2024, attended by various parties, including the Gianyar Regency government and local village officials.
Apart from that, TP PKK will also hold a yard use competition entitled 'I am the PKK's Heart' and a Healthy Teeth Family competition, which will take place on 21-23 October 2024. With various programs promoted by the Bali Province TP PKK, it is hoped that Temesi Village can become an example of an independent and prosperous village. Mahendra Jaya hopes that this collaboration can improve the quality of life of the people of Temesi Village as well as boost the Gianyar tourism sector. (Rls/Btnc)
