Bali Supports International Artist Concerts in Indonesia

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - The Bali Provincial Government has positively welcomed the idea of Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan for Indonesia to hold exclusive music concerts such as the concert by world singer Taylor Swift which was held in Singapore. This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra, in Denpasar, Monday ( March 18, 2024)
"As a popular tourist destination in the world, Bali could be an alternative location for holding concerts by international artists," Dewa Made Indra said representing The Acting Governor of Bali. He added that Bali is quite representative as an international concert location because it is supported by adequate tourism infrastructure, accommodation and human resources.
"The existence of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is used to receiving large numbers of foreign tourists, coupled with the availability of hotels and accommodation and of course the services of tourism personnel in Bali, will give a positive impression to fans from neighboring countries who intend to watch in Bali," he added.
"The added value is of course that both artists and crew and fans can visit various tourist destinations in Bali between concerts," He explained .
Regional Secretary Dewa Indra also reminded that it is nothing new for Bali to hold international standard activities, so that smooth and professional implementation can be expected from service providers in Bali. Even if an international artist's concert is held outside Bali, Regional Secretary Dewa Indra hopes that artists and foreign tourists who watch the concert will take the time to visit Bali.
