Food and Agriculture Organization of The United Nations Visiting Subak Guama, in Kekeran Sub Village, Selanbawak Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. They visit to discuss the farmers' rights.
The delegation numbering 100 people have been admitted by manager of Koperasi Kuat I Wayan Atma in Subak Guama hall. Wayan Atmaja said Subak Guama addition to managing irrigation, also carries on business in the form of livestock such as cattle. Cattle are given to the public in the form of credit. "We also distribute the means for agricultural production required by our citizens, and Guama Subak well as breeding of rice seeds and seed types inpar and infago," he explained.
Besides, it also has Koperasi Subak Guama to help family farmers for marketing of agricultural produce to the farmer groups in collaboration with State-Owned Enterprises for the marketing of seed. "Until now, koperasi Kuat Subak Guama managing assets of Rp 5.3 billion," he added. On occasion was also attended Head BPTP Bali Provincial, Agung Kamandalu and his team.
