The Acting Governor of Bali Mahendra Jaya Appreciates the Role of The TP PKK Bali Province TP PKK "Ngrombo" in Reducing Extreme Poverty and Stunting Rates

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com – The Acting Governor of Bali who is also The Chairman of the TP PKK Bali Province , S.M. Mahendra Jaya expressed his appreciation to the TP PKK Bali Province for their hard work and dedication to help launch the Bali Provincial Government's programs.
He said it when giving a speech at the peak of the 52nd PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) commemoration at the Bali Province level in 2024, at the Ksirarnawa Building, Taman Budaya, Denpasar, on Friday ( June 7, 2024).
According to him, one of the Bali Provincial Government's current strategic programs which is also in line with the National Program is Reducing Extreme Poverty Rates and Reducing Stunting Rates. He believes that the TP PKK Bali Province is under the command of The Acting. Chair of the TP PKK Bali Province Mrs. Drg. Ida Mahendra Jaya was so proactive that she went to the villages to make the program a success. "Until now, the level of extreme poverty and stunting in Bali Province is the smallest and far below the national average, this is because of the hard work of all of us, including TP PKK," he said.
He also hopes that in the future the TP PKK and all ranks and all PKK cadres will continue to work with enthusiasm, be more innovative and synergize (Ngrombo), so that the PKK is able to grow as a movement that plays an increasingly important role in supporting priority programs of the Central Government and Regional Government. .
Regarding the theme of the HKG PKK Commemoration, namely "Moving Together with the PKK, Creating a Prosperous Family Towards a Progressive Indonesia", according to him, it is also very strategic and appropriate to address the current living conditions of society.
Mahendra Jaya mentioned that many economic experts believe that Indonesia has the opportunity to realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045, to become a developed, prosperous and globally competitive country with the demographic bonus of the productive age in 2030-1n. "For this reason, we can realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia, the main foundation starting from the family, with TP PKK as the driving force for family and community welfare," he concluded.
Previously The Acting Chair of the TP PKK Bali Province Mrs. Drg. Ida Mahendra Jaya had the opportunity to read the remarks of the General Chairperson of TP PKK, Mrs. Tri Tito Karnavian at the 52nd HKG Peak which was held in the city of Surakarta, Central Java on May 16.
In the speech she read, the General Chair of the TP PKK expressed his hope to all cadres to remain enthusiastic about serving the community and that the planned PKK programs would continue. Moreover, according to her, the TP PKK has strong legal force through Presidential Regulation Number 99 of 2017 concerning the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement. "Then it was regulated by Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 36 of 2020 so that our activities were accommodated by the central government and regional governments, which also concerns budgeting and government programs," She continued.
At the peak of the 52nd HKG at the Bali Province level, prizes were also awarded for competitions which had been held in a series to welcome the HKG. The two competitions that were held were the Regency/City TP PKK Singing Contest which was won by TP PKK Tabanan Regency as 1st Place, 2nd Place was TP PKK Bangli Regency, while 3rd Place was TP PKK Karangasem Regency. The next competition was the Pendet Dance Competition which was won by TP PKK Gianyar Regency as 1st place, 2nd place TP PKK Buleleng Regency and 3rd place TP PKK Bangli Regency.
