Starting his speech, the Minister of ATR/BPN expressed his appreciation for holding
Bali Art Festival as an annual event which has become the biggest people's party in Bali since 1978.Bali Art Festival is not only a venue for Balinese artists, artists from various districts/provinces in Indonesia but also artists from abroad. Therefore, Bali Art Festival has been designated as the top 10 Kharisma Event Nusantara from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Minister Agus Yudhoyono also added that the Bali Art Festival which carries the theme "Jana Kerthi: Paramaguna Wikrama", Superior Balinese Human Dignity, is very contextual and relevant to the development of superior Human Resources (HR) towards a golden Indonesia 2045. The Bali Art Festival is a space for strengthening expressions and campaigns for the importance of building superior human. Superior humans are humans who have identity, integrity and quality. By promoting our own cultural arts, we have confirmed our identity, because even though Bali is rich in foreign cultures, the culture itself is timeless, not rusted by time, as strong as a rock, illuminating the world with its ancestral heritage and sacred values. from our predecessors. Even Balinese arts and culture have spiritual power that creates great energy to become a great nation, a superior nation, a nation respected and respected by the world."For this reason, I express my appreciation for the efforts of the Bali Provincial Government, art workers and all Balinese people who continue to work, express works of art and continue to develop the noble aesthetics and traditions of Balinese culture as a way to build superior Indonesian people in the future," he added.

As an annual party that has received worldwide recognition, Bali Art Festival is a meeting place for creative people to create, collaborate and complement each other. Bali Art Festival is an arts and cultural event with historical value, as part of the collective memory not only for Krama Bali, but also nationally and internationally. Bali Art Festival is the largest, longest-running and internationally renowned cultural event as a vehicle for the protection, preservation and development of traditional, classical and folk art. Regarding the Bali Art Festival XLVI 2024 agenda, Mahendra Jaya said that Bali Art Festival 2024 carries the theme "Jana Kerthi: Paramaguna Wikrama", the Dignity of Superior Balinese Humans, which contains the meaning of efforts to glorify life and human life in a Sakala-Niskala manner, to create superior and dignified Balinese people. Superior humans can be developed by strengthening understanding of the noble values stored in various Balinese cultural objects. Therefore, the works of art displayed apart from cultivating beauty, also speak about various efforts to build superior Balinese human resources who have identity, integrity and quality.
Mahendra Jaya also added that this year's Bali Art Festival event was not only filled with Balinese artists but also artists from Provinces and Regencies/Cities in Indonesia including DKI Jakarta, Depok City (West Java), West Lampung Regency, DI Yogyakarta, South Sumatra Province, Kupang City (NTT), Jambi Province, North Sumatra Province, Surakarta City, Katingan Regency (Central Kalimantan). Not only that, 8 (eight) friendly countries are also participating in the 2024 Bali World Culture Celebration, namely: the United States, the People's Republic of China (PRC), India, Japan, Hong Kong, Ukraine and Malaysia. "I invite all Krama Bali with the spirit of "Ngrombo' to synergize and work together to work together to make the implementation of Bali Art Festival XLVI 2024 a success. Bali Art Festival 2024, which takes place for a whole month from June 15 to July 13 2024, involves around 13,515 artists from 275 sekaa/studios/art communities in various art activities including Peed Aya (Parade), Rekasadana (Performance), Utsawa (Parade), Wimbakara( Competition), Kandarupa (Exhibition), Kriyaloka (Workshop/Workshop), Widyatula (Sarasehan), Adi Sewaka Nugraha (Artist Service Award), Bali World Culture Celebration (World Culture Celebration in Bali) and Bali Tradition Jantra (Regional Culture Week). All agenda items are presented simultaneously to maintain productivity, creativity and provide a platform for art appreciation for artists and artists in Bali, as well as providing healthy and educational entertainment for all levels of society. The opening of Bali Art Festival began with a Peed Aya (parade) and was greeted with the sounds of the Gong Gede gamelan, Semar Pagulingan, and the Ketug Bhumi gamelan while accompanying the PKB mascot "Siwa Nataraja". There are 10 participants in Peed Aya PKB XLVI in 2024, namely the Usadi Lango Community, the Indonesian Art Institute Denpasar, Jembrana Regency, Gianyar Regency, Bangli Regency, Tabanan Regency, Denpasar City, Buleleng Regency, Karangasem Regency, Badung Regency, and Klungkung Regency.
Also present on this occasion were leaders of members of the DPR/RI and DPD RI, consulates of friendly countries, high-ranking officials from Vertical Institutions, Chair of the TP PKK Bali Province, Mrs. Drg Ida Mahendra Jaya, Chair and Deputy Chair of the Bali Province DPRD, Bali Regional Secretary Dewa Made Indra, Bali Province Forkopimda, Mayors/Regents throughout Bali, Chair of Bali Regency/City DPRD, Head of Regional Apparatus within the Bali Provincial Government, heads of vertical agencies in Bali Province, Penglingisr Puri, cultural figures, artists and the general public seemed very enthusiastic about watching the parade.
