The Governor of  Bali  Wayan Koster appreciated the innovation presented by BPD Bali and LPD in the form of LPD e-link online financial services that can be accessed through applications on smart phones.

This was conveyed by Governor Bali Wayan Koster  when attending the Synergy Seminar of Bank BPD Bali with the LPD in Building the Regional Economy to Realize the Vision of Building the Ker Kerthi Loka Bali Towards a New Era of Bali and the launch of the Bali LPD-BPD e-link application at Inna Bali Beach, Sanur, Denpasar, Monday (11 November 2019).

The Governor said the launch of the e-link application was a positive thing because it turned out that the LPD could also follow the development of modern organizational management by applying information technology, namely in the form of LPD e-links. "I think this is something very good and I appreciate the steps taken by BPD together with this LPD," Koster said.

The governor from the village of Sembiran, Buleleng continues to be committed to advancing the role of traditional villages including the LPD which is part of the customary village which in the future will be renamed Labda Pacingkreman Desa. "Later, in 2020 there will be a new regulation because there is an Office for the Advancement of Indigenous Peoples that specifically takes care of custom  villages. So when the head of his service is appointed, I will coordinate so that traditional villages that do not have an LPD immediately have an LPD, "said the former member of the Indonesian Parliament

Bank BPD Bali Managing Director I Nyoman Sudharma, SH., MH said the seminar and launch of the Bali LPD e-link were a series of commemorations for the 35th LPD Anniversary. He added, although BPD is no longer a coach and supervisor, the synergy between BPD and LPD is very strong. "This is realized by the placement of LPD funds in BPD Bali until the October position of nearly Rp 4 trillion," he said.

According to him, the launch of the LPD e-link is part of an effort to increase financial access and financial inclusion especially for rural communities. "And with this collaboration, it is hoped that LPDs throughout Bali, especially people in rural areas with digital banking, can use BPD Bali facilities," he hoped.

Chairperson of the BKS LPD  Bali Province Drs. I Nyoman Cendikiawan, SH, M.Si said that with total assets of Rp 23.4 trillion, it is clear evidence that people of Bali manners, especially traditional manners, are very enthusiastic about the existence of the LPD. He added, in the field of IT especially facing competition 4.0 today, LPD has also made various breakthroughs by standardizing computer programs equipped with services such as LPD Mobile, PPOB and others whose purpose is to provide maximum service to customers. "(Launch-red) e-link is very appreciated and certainly very useful for maximum service to customers," he explained. (Balitopnews.com/MD/rls)
