Cok Ace said that during the Covid-19 pandemic, which required maintaining distance as the basis for online learning, namely through the Circular of the Minister of Education Number 4 of 2020 concerning Implementation of Education in Emergency Times Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) and the Letter of the Bali Province Task Force Number 51 / Covid Task Force19 / III / 2020 on "Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency for the Spread of the Corona Disease Virus (Covid-19).


 

According to Cok Ace, in online learning, various obstacles occur, such as technological imbalances between schools in cities and districts, limited teacher competence in the use of learning applications, limited resources for utilizing educational technology, limited internet and quotas, and teacher-student-parent relations in online learning that is not yet integral.

 

"This requires a concrete solution to overcome this," he added.

 

The professor of ISI Denpasar hopes that all webinar participants can participate in this activity as well as possible, to get to know more about how to provide motivation and increase enthusiasm for learning to students.

 

"To the British Government through the British Embassy, ​​we on behalf of the Bali Provincial Government hope to increase cooperation in the field of education in a sustainable manner in the future," he said. 

 

Meanwhile Andi Azka Faurianthi Poetri, Project Management & International Development Practice, British Embassy to Indonesia, said this event aims to help teaching staff to face the technological era, especially during this pandemic.

 

She said that currently there are many educators who feel afraid, especially dealing with technology. "Here we want to change the point of view of our educators too," She explained.
