The Governor of Bali Distributes BST of IDR 449 Billion

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - The Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster said the government distributed various social assistance to the community, including those in Bali affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in the implementation of Emergency PPKM. Total Social Assistance for the community that has been realized from January to July 2021 from the Ministry of Social Affairs is Rp. 449 billion.

 

In addition, there is also a Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance (BLTDD) from the Ministry of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia in the amount of Rp. 160 billion more, as well as Productive Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) from the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia amounting to Rp.287 billion.

 

The assistance, namely social assistance from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, namely:

Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT)/Food Social Assistance (BSP). The number of residents who were given as many as 144,303 Beneficiary Families (KPM), the amount of assistance was Rp. 200,000 per month for a year, and already disbursed from January to July 2021 for more than Rp. 163 billion through BNI, BRI, and BTN Banks. Residents who receive assistance must buy their food needs at the E-Warung determined by the State Bank Association (HIMBARA). This assistance will be added again by Rp. 200,000 for 2 months, July and August.

 

Assistance in the form of the Family Hope Program (PKH). The number of residents who were given as many as 92,832 Beneficiary Families (KPM), the amount of assistance was Rp. 1,500,000 Rp. 3,000,000 in one year, has been disbursed until the 3rd stage of more than Rp. 162 Billion.

 

Cash Social Assistance (BST) with the number of residents given as many as 103 thousand KPM, the amount of assistance is Rp. 300,000 per month for a year has been disbursed from January to April 2021, amounting to Rp. 124 billion. In May and June 2021 it will be given to 96,000 KPM in the amount of Rp. 600,000 will be disbursed at once in July 2021.

 

Social assistance in the form of rice distributed by Bulog was given to 217,000 KPM 10 kg each.

Rice package assistance was given to 3,000 residents outside the recipients of PKH, BST, and BPNT (BSP) assistance, each 5 kg.

 

Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (BLTDD) from the Ministry of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia. The number of residents who were given as many as 59,444 Beneficiary Families (KPM), the amount of assistance was Rp. 300,000 in one year, already disbursed from January to July 2021. The total budget in one year 2021, as much as Rp. 160 Billion more. The percentage of Village Fund realization for BLTDD in Bali Province is the highest in Indonesia.

 

Productive Assistance for Micro Enterprises (BPUM) from the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives. The number of recipient business units is 239,469 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the amount of assistance is Rp. 1,200,000 in one year 2021, with a total budget of more than Rp. 287 billion, until July has disbursed as much as 76.57% of the total MSME recipients. .

 

The Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster symbolically from Jayasabha with strict health protocols handed over Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT)/Food Social Assistance (BSP) to residents:

1). Ni Kadek Wirasih from Sidemen, Karangasem Regency;

2). Ni Ketut Sugiari Astuti from Sading, Mengwi, Badung Regency; and

3). Ni Nyoman Krisnayanti from Pemecutan Village, Denpasar City.

 

Then handed over the Cash Social Assistance (BST) to I Wayan Purnata from Dauh Puri Village, Denpasar; as well as handing over the assistance of the Family Hope Program (PKH) to residents who work as laborers, namely:

1). Ni Made Sumarti from Dentim, Denpasar City;

2). Ni Made Masni from Gulingan, Mengwi, Badung Regency; and

3). Ni Ketut Toris from Sidemen, Karangasem Regency.

 

The Governor of Bali said that with the assistance provided, he could help with daily needs and this assistance would take place every month.

 

"To Bank BNI, BRI, Mandiri, and BTN, as well as PT Pos Indonesia to Perum Bulog, Bali Regional Office who have facilitated this government program well, I ask that everything goes smoothly according to all of our expectations, and in accordance with the direction of the President who always stressed that this program should be realized quickly," he said Wednesday (July 21, 2021).

 

Governor Koster appealed to the public to accept and understand the government's policy of implementing Emergency PPKM which was burdensome to the community. This is a policy choice that must be made, there is no other choice to prevent the transmission of the new variant of Covid, which is very fast, for the sake of public health and the safety of the country.

 

Koster invites and appeals to the entire community to follow the health protocols in an orderly manner and always pray so that this Covid-19 pandemic can be passed well. Considering that the government starting on Wednesday 21 July 2021 until Sunday 25 July 2021 will impose a Level 3 Covid-19 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) in the New Era of Life Order in Bali Province.(gix)
